Please help me with shoes (and veil ideas, while we're at it)!

Jill-

I love those shell ones. Where did you find those?

That probably comes the closest to what I need, except they need to be a little more sparkley. And although I hate gold tones, I'm going to have to go with gold tones or pearls or rhinestones to match my dress.

Thanks!

And Christine, PLEASE post those pics when you get them. I can't wait to see them.

Jill, what kind of flower did you get?

you're going to kill me, that is unless you wear a size 11 in shoes. I just went back to find that site and when I clicked on the link for the shoe it says size 11, and thats it, I don't know why? but heres the link, I'll do some more searching and see what else I can find

Not sure if they are too tall for you or not, but I love them all. lol

These only come in white, but they are satin so you could dye them.

Cynthia Rowley Tatyana (White Satin) - Bridal Shoes

And these come in gold and bronze I think.

honestly, just go barefoot. I had gold leather jcrew flip-flops that I wore for the first part of the day but I ditched them after about 20 minutes and never put them back on. - you said that you're not a flip-flop fan so they prob. won't work for you.

as for a veil, you can absolutely wear a veil without a tiara. I did. I had my hair up and just put the comb where my updo started toward the back of my head. But if you are wearing your hair down, you can anchor the comb in your hair by using a couple of bobby pins that are strategically placed.

good luck!

Jill- I AM actually a size 11, so I'm totally checking into those!

Julie, I especially love the wedges you sent. They're awesome. But I don't have time to figure out dying a shoe and they only come in white sad.gif

Tasha-the closer we get, I'm thinking about going shoeless, except I'm afraid my feet will burn off. I have neuropathy which makes walking barefoot a little painful for me. It's dumb, but I have a hard time without shoes, even on the beach.

Christine, so I can do the veil without a tiara...but how will I attach it to my shaved head?

And I do love the idea of wearing a tiara all week long (although I don't know if I'm actually ballsy enough to do that)

well then I guess those are the perfect shoes for you, almost like the foot jewelry, but they have a bottom and they only come in your size!

I knew you mentioned that you were tall, so I thought they might be close to the right size for your foot, but thats just perfect!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
