Laura did you ever figure out your hair? My sister is a pregnant hormonal crazy woman right now (she is super moody without having a baby inside of her-now its bad) so she never had a chance to play with my hair, but we did talk about it and I think we will make it all curly with a small curling iron and just start pinning pieces up...actually I talked to my step-mom and I am probably going to find someone else due to the hormonal mess that is my sister

I think that would be a good idea Christine, you need to be relaxed and if your sister isn't, her mood could affect you. Your hair idea sounds pretty.

I think you can make wedges work, but pretty flipflops would be best then change shoes for the reception. You should bring a couple of shoes and then practice on the beach to see what you are most comfortable in.

So, here's what I've decided to do:

No tiara, it's just too much with my necklaces.

No shoes, I'm just too worn down to keep looking.

I'm going to wear my hair in a just-about-to-fall-out looking updo. I think I might have stolen that from someone on here.

I haven't tried it all together, and will probably end up doing my own makeup, but at this point, I'm going to be happy to make it to the ceremony.

Somebody get me a footwarmer, because mine are really cold!shots.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
