Dreams Los Cabos Wedding Guide 2009/2010 (menus, pics, packages, extra pricing, etc.)

Thanks Tammy so much for this. It was really helpful and I was able to confirm that those were the prices I was quoted for everything. I was also curious about the event things they can do and casino night sounds like a lot of fun so I may try and set that up!

Not sure if that was in Tammy's post but I couldnt remember and had been wondering.
Thanks Erika for this vendor info! I was thinking it was the usual set up fee for the reception!

I just wanted to add a few tid bits.

Dreams includes a ton of toiletries, pre wedding I head read it but had no idea what it truly included and many of my guest commented the wish they had know as they would have packed less.

Also note the items are restocked daily or as needed:

-razors

-toothbrushes

-toothpaste (colgate)

-shaving cream

-shoe polish

-mending kit

-file, q tips, cotton pads

-sunscreen (spf 15)

-shampoo/conditioner combo

-body wash

-soap

-shower cap

-body lotion

The lotion, sunscreen, shampoo and body wash are in pretty large bottles, the were not the standard "hotel" size. So it is really great to not worry about packing that stuff.

PS. Hair dryer is small mounted white, but worked fine, I used it about half the time. Instead of getting mine out.

Also they have a fab lighted close up mirror on the wall, worked great.

I've been searching around and can't find anywhere that this is answered...Do any of you know how the bar works at the Dreams? In the package it said that the bar is included for the cocktail hour, but then what? They don't take it down right? Since it's an all inclusive resort, do they leave it during the reception? I saw Ana's pictures and it looked like the cocktail hour will be set up close to the reception at the oceana terrace and there was a bar there where they easily transitioned over from the cocktail area to the sit down table area. When I asked Yesica if it was open bar until 10:30 since its an all inclusive hotel she said "only during the cocktail hour"... so now i'm confused. Can anyone clear this up for me?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
