Hey ladies!

I designed a template for my STD magnets and bought the envelopes to go with them on Vista Print.

Since the STDs are small in the size, there will be enough space inside of the envelopes. Any suggestions what I should send along with the STDs?

Here are the images.

You can see the size of the magnet and envelope.

See how much space I have left after putting it in the envelope.

The actual image of my STD template. I would upload the template but it is in .psd and not sure if anyone of you have Photoshop. Please PM me if you do have Photoshop and know how to work with a .psd and I will e-mail you the .psd.

Thanks in advance!!

I love those! Did you get them as business card magnets or is there something else on vistaprint that you did it with because I want something like that.

What about getting some kind of cute index card, cool paper or something that size to attach the magnet too so it's not by itself in the envelope? Maybe like cardstock?

That's a cute idea! For the printing you could include fun facts about Playa del Carmen (a way to get the people excited about the destination)!

Here is the company I ordered mine from and they included the cardstock to fit the magnet inside it perfectly and the envelope (even though you already have the envelope)

Wedding Invitations, Wedding Favors, Bridesmaid Gifts and much more! - NewandBlue Home Page

you can purchase things separately, so if you just want the cardstock backing, you can do that.

I think you should also just include anything about your travle agent, or rates, accomodations etc. If you have them ready, you should just send it with the STD. In mine, I included our TA's biz card and everyone still has it on their fridge.

Thanks ladies!!

I created this template on my own and uploaded the design on VistaPrint for the small business magnets and picked the envelopes to go with them.

I was thinking about creating a small note card with travel agent info and for them to RSVP on our website so that way we can know which invitation to send them (i.e. Yes - the wedding invitation or No - at home gathering party) Is that tacky if I do that? I do not want to spend double on both of invitations due to our budget.

Lets see your save the date! I'm thinkin of magnets too. I like the idea of attaching it to a card with slits in it.
But I'm also very curious of peoples response to ur 2 invitations. I didnt know if i should include rsvp in the std or just wait to include that in the actual invitation. its a much cheaper idea to send out more stds & send less invitations to everyone u know who is going for sure. So ill be waiting for everyones response!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
