My Fiance and I are planning our wedding in ARUBA for August 2010 and at the RIU Palace.

 

I see that you have knowledge on both the RIU and ARUBA.

 

The pictures are very helpful and I see that you have not been there in sometime.

 

Are there any pointers on the hotel, location, restaurants, and things we can enjoy on island.. whatever you can share is greatly appreciated!!!

I'm getting married in Aruba at the Riu Palace in July 2010. I've never been to Aruba before and don't really know much about anything. I'm just kinda going with the flow of everything. The wedding planner at the Riu says that she gets in touch with you 1-2 months before the wedding to start planning everything, but that really freaks me out!!! Does anyone have any past experience there Or know of any other info that could help me out with the Riu?

Our wedding coordinator has also told us that not much needs to be decided until a month before - it's scary waiting until so close!
