When is your wedding date? I know these ladies have like 2-3 wedding every day. It's possible depending on your date they are just prioritizing your emails. I had a time sensitive question that I couldn't get a reply to so I called. It was hit or miss getting someone live vs get their voicemail. But I did get what I need taken care of. If you feel like your question can not wait for a reply, might as well call and see if you can take care of it over the phone. I noticed the best time to get ahold of someone live is first thing in the morning or towards the end of the day. I think that's when they are in the office? I could be wrong, but that's what worked for me. Im sure everything will work out just fine. From what I hear, you will be amazed with how it all falls together perfectly on your big day. Good luck! :-)

We Have Gina and to be honest I am getting very frustrated.  Has anyone contacted their planner directly on the phone without complications?  I haven't tried yet, but waiting forever for email replies is exhausting!  Thanks!!!

Thank you so much.

As far as the people in the background...I am not sure the photgrapher was trying to capture them but I think it adds to the "ambiance" of the pictures.  I even asked Anel to get the people playing soccer in the photos. :)

i have requests to photoshop out people gawking in the background, but I think it can add a really interesting and comical element, so I have even focused on some gawkers watching the ceremony in their speedos and bathing suits, that is where they are getting married after all so it's a funny moment to capture :)

Future brides and past brides what are you doing about tips: Who are you tipping and how much?

Trying to cover all the small details- leaving in 2 weeks cant even believe it!!!

Thank you!

I tipped the waitstaff mostly as they work very hard to make sure you are comfortable.  We are contacting Gina to send her our tip.  I could not catch up to her after our wedding.  If you want to tip her, make sure you get to her immediately after the wedding (which is hard because you will be over the moon...).  Just so you know...it seems that the wedding office is closed on Sundays....we tried to go by to see her the day we left and the office was closed.

Tip as you feel it is warranted.  Keep in mind, many of the things you will pay for will have a service fee attached to it = gratuity....If the service is outrstanding....tip above that amount....

I hope this helps!

I am so excited for you and all the other upcoming brides....because I know the great trip you are in for!

Hi Ginaf1987,

We had a blast, Dreams does not disappoint, that's for sure. For the TTD session Anel suggested taking us to Puerto Merelos, which is a small town maybe about a 10 minute Drive from Dreams.

i have so many questions I would like to ask you about your day.....

Where did you get your fans from at the ceremony.

Also what were the timings of your day and what photo package did you have?

thanks

Hi RobynKelly!

I would be more than happy to answer all your questions...You can e-mail me at aimeelaco@hotmail.com if that makes it easier

I'm at work at the moment and will need to take a look at home where I purchased the ceremony fans.  If you provide me your e-mail address I can e-mail them to you or I can post the link on here which ever you prefer....Also, if you're interested, if you liked the fan tags, I make wedding invitations, tags, postcards etc on the side and I would be more than happy to provide you a price :)

Below is the timing of our wedding day

Ceremony: 6pm

Cocktail Hour: 7pm

Reception: 8pm

I hope this helps!

    • Yes, this happens all the time. One thing to consider is maybe to have the wedding at an off-site location where all your guests can go. There are several in Puerto Vallarta and Cancun Mexico. Most hotels offer a free wedding, but if a majority of guests are not staying there you'll be paying for not only the day pass, but for the food and beverage for each outside guest. Thanks - Sadie
    • When it comes to your Wedding Clothes, it's pretty normal to be flooded by numerous choices that are available in the market like clothing style, pattern, fabric, and colors.  Absolutely, I liked this dress and I will never miss wearing this outfit for the wedding. Thank you for sharing this post.
    • Hi guys! Thank you for sharing the valuable information. Some students think, “How do I write my book review?” and are confused by this sort of task, and others are happy to do it and enjoy the writing process a lot. Such a difference in perception and attitudes is caused by the ambivalence of this task.
    • Hi All, I have just gotten in touch with a TA and we are in the process of getting quotes for our wedding in either DR or Mexico. Now she said something that I wasn't  aware of and I wonder how others handled this as I just can't believe that we are the only one in this situation. We feel we are asking our guests already a for a lot to come a long way to our wedding (our guests come from Canada and Germany) and there are a few that wouldn't want to miss it (like my partner's brother) but they just don't have a lot of money. Our budget doesn't allow us to chip in for flights and accommodation so we are basically asking everyone to save up money for our big event. Now we are planning the wedding at a resort that I know some of our guests can't (or don't want to) pay for. We were hoping to find a place where guests have the option to book themselves a cheaper hotel or an AirBnB nearby and only come to our wedding. Our TA told us that the resort might not allow that or only for a limited percentage of our guests. That is terrible news for us! I think that a good 50% of our guests will also stay at the resort for one, two or even three weeks but how can we 'force' other people to stay at the hotel of OUR choice?  I get that the resort would charge a fee for day guests and obviously we expect to pay for food and drinks but I didn't know that we would have to agree to a certain percentage of the guests staying at the resort. I don't feel we have control over that. How do others handle that?
