Davids Bridal sells under the gown things...corsets, fancy spanx, etc.  I think you can buy online.  :)

I had gone to a couple of places and looked around for body shapers. And from my experience I was told that however all the good stuff holds you in, you WILL sweat like a pig because of the thick material. I was told that my best bet was spanx, because it is lightweight but reasonably gets the job done. If you are hellbent on getting something a little sturdier I would suggest getting a strapless bra seperate and a mid-thigh body suit (covers thighs, and tummy)

Hello ladies

 

Can anyone strike out a list of decor that would be needed. So far, I have starfish for the name tags, chair sashes, and table overlays, or organza's...not sure what that is just yet, will google.  My wedding is on the beach, does anyone have the exact dimensions of the archway on the beach...not the gazebo.  I need to order the material. Any other tips would be great. May 12 is 9 week away! SOOOOO NERVOUS!

Yes, that would be great info! I am using the gazebo and am also wondering what all to bring? Thinking of bringing chair covers, sashes, table runners and not sure what all else? What will I need for the gazebo? It is so nice to have this forum, so helpful! Thank-you to all.

YAY! The list is great to see who will be there at the same time! Question for you guys...what room type are you booking? My TA is trying to get us to book a Presidential suite but it is so much more than the honeymoon suite i just want to make sure it is worth it. Any input would help :)

When I visited the resort last June I saw a master suite, which is slightly bigger than the honeymoon suite.  The presidential suite is huge and walks right down onto the beach where you would marry...if you chose the north beach.  When it's not booked, they often let brides walk down from there for the ceremony.  It was my understanding from Jorge that it is very very big and not that necessary.  We're in the honeymoon suite.  :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
