chrissyandrob- We also plan to use the lounge furniture during cocktail hour. I was quoted $280- for a set of  2 (to sit 10 each) and that includes center table and colored pillows. What do you think of the price?

Holy crappp...I'll be getting married on the beach 3 weeks from today!!  Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just made my wedding hair and make-up appointment with Ana today.

Still lots to do....I started to put together everything I need to bring down and whoa!!, it adds up quickly and will need more luggage room....yikes!!

With all the awesome reviews on here i feel its silly to be stressed but still sorta hard to stay calm at times. Anyone else feel the same??

Still contemplating about the picture packages!! what to do, what to do....

Has anyone purchased extra video, besides the one that comes in the ultimate package??? I wonder if its worth it.

Hi, im a newbie to the site.  I am looking to get married June 2012 at Dreams Riviera Cancun. I stayed there in September 2010 and though relatively new I had a great time and absolutely loved the resort.  I got engaged in Jamaica (Iberostar Rose Hall Suites) 2 weeks ago & though I like the resort, I love Mexico much more.  Can you please tell me what is the first thing I should do? Should I be contacting the wedding coordinator at the resort now? Also, any recommendations for photographers (outside vendors?)

-Next Wednesday?!?!!!  You must be soooo excited!!! woot.gif

I now, the full photo package seems like the way to go... my budget is just so tight.

Did you get the ultimate package? do they just add on to what you already have in your package?

Even though we have lots to bring down with us, I still feel it will save us $$$ in the long run.  The damn maracas are taking up all my luggage space but I love them and will not leave them behind!!!!! lol

Have a wonderful time!!!  Try to enjoy every moment...Im sure everything will turn out GREAT!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
