Contact the resort photographer!
Our ceremony is at 6 and emailed her with my concern about having enough daytime light for pictures and she said they could come back the next mornng o another day at no additional charge! That way you'll have a lot more pictures to choose for your package :)

I'm sure it used to say oceanVIEW... I'm hoping maybe she'll be nice and give it to us anyways. So I would also be interested to know what, if anything, other brides have received!
I believe it was if you had a preferred oceanfront OR if you have a certain number of guests staying at the resort. I forget exactly what it was, but we stayed in the cheapest room (got upgraded to oceanview) and still got the honeymoon package.

I'd like the actual ceremony if you can either send it to me [email protected] or just post it on here. Thanks!

Since you are offering, would you mind sending it to princess402 at yahoo.com? Thanks!

Let me try to remember what we got with it :) We got champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, a beautiful bouquet of flowers (that stayed beautiful the whole time we were there), a couples massage and either 2 facials or 2 body scrubs, a private dinner on the beach (although with this, they called us the day of the dinner and said that there was a wedding reception on the deck so the dinner on the beach wouldn't be very private and they suggested we have dinner in the wine cellar instead. We agreed to switch and for a little bit, we were in the wine cellar by ourselves, which was very nice and romantic but then a party of like 20 people came in. Ha! We just laughed!), we got breakfast in bed one morning, they decorated our room the night of the wedding with rose petals and turned on romantic music and I think left a bottle of champagne. There might have been more but I don't remember :) Although, you don't get the package automatically. When you get there, talk to Ana and remind her about the honeymoon package. She gave us a paper and we had to take it to the concierge to schedule the dinner and breakfast in bed. We had so much fun with all of the things from the honeymoon package!

Thanks ladies, this is very reassuring! We are staying for two weeks in a preferred ocean view room, and I would think would also meet the minimum guest requirement! So hopefully it shouldn't be a problem :)

8 people comfortably, that is what we are planning for, but I heard another lady on here say that they may fit up to 10 but I think that would be a tight squeeze

Does anyone know how the resort coupons work? I would love for my guests to be able to use them, but know in advance what it will actually cost. Can you use them for any treatment that's less than $110? I think it said $40 coupon limit for 50 minute treatment. What about the romantic dinner? How much is that? And what is the price range for wine? Is there any wine in the all-inclusive rate or only liquor?

Thanks!

Aubry they get you with the coupons.. Private dinner was like 160.00 -210?? as for wine you can have house wine for free... that was fine/ bottles were double what they were in the US. I used my coupon for a massage... 20 bucks off

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
