There is going to be a small mound of sand and these are going to be stuck into it.

I am also spending some time on my table number project, but then I am leaning towards no place cards. The ones I like are a couple bucks each, thought its an easy pass from that perspective.

Happy planning.
I love the umbrella idea! Very cute. Your guests will love that!

Although, that is were i got my idea from!

What is everyone doing for thier OOT bags? I was going to do towels that say, "Dreams 11/13/2010", a personalized mug, a just in case kit and then just a welcome note with the wedding details.

How about everyone else?
I like the towel idea! Where are you getting the towels and personalization done? We're definitely doing a just in case kit with tylenol, bug spray, sun block, aloe...things like that, but I haven't thought about any of the other fun things to put in it. I was thinking I would look for a tote bag with maybe a clear front pocket to slide the welcome note into it. I'm going to ask Ana if these could be handed out by reception as people check in rather than be put in their rooms. I hope they can do it. For some reason I like the idea of them getting something right as they check in.

Great ideas! Are you giving each person their own bag or are you just doing one bag per room? I have been to one destination wedding and we got one bag for both of us. Maybe for people with kids we could just add extra kid stuff to those bags? Thanks!

these will have a tag of 'shake at the kiss'. I did however also break down and get some bubbles, not quite sure why aside from the fact that I was at a store and got 50 for about 7 bucks as they were on sale.

I would like the same thing...for the guests to get the bags as they check in. i got these awesome beach towels from Kmart...couldn't believe it. They aren't personalized but they are really nice, brightly colored towels. A few weeks ago they had them on sale for $3! Couldn't beat that!

That is what I was going to do too. I love the maracas. I emailed mischka and she wants me to send her my invitation so she can see the colors.

Hey pbjwed!
Here is a link to a website that sells the startfish already painted pink. Finger Starfish
Might save you a lot of time so you don't have to paint all of them!!! Plus they are only 75 cents plus shipping. I can try and post of picture of the box/tray when I return from traveling.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
