I just emailed the spa and they set up the appointments - it was really easy!! My mom and my bridesmaids got their hair and make-up done at the salon and they did a great job! I got my nails done there and they did a great job with that too! They are really nice there and will get back to you really quickly when you email them. Here is the email that I used...

Thanks Laura you are awesome!!!

How were the prices? Were they reasonable I am assuming that they might be a little high considering everything else that I have gotten prices about. lol

This is a REALLY old list. If someone can find the most recent one to bring forward that's great but I really don't think we should all re-add ourselves to this one.

Happy Cinco De Mayo Brides!!! Today was a GREAT day because Ana responded to me and ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS!!! Woohooooo! I gave up because it had been over 2 months and was THRILLED to see all my questions answered. I can include it in the forum if anyone wants me to but am very happy! The only issue is we wanted to have a Fiesta night and Tequila Tasting in Elpatio and was told we they cant accomadate the 85 people sad.gif so I am not sure what we are going to do there. Ana said I couldnt have the Mariachi Band in the restaurant.. which is odd because when I was there for dinner there was a Mariachi Trio playing for the guests?? Hmm not sure.. but I believe I will have to investigate further. I haven't been on in awhile... Congrats to all the new brides and the ones that just got married! Your pics are fantastic!!!!!!!!

Just had to let you all know there is HOPe!!!!!! Its a beautiful day!!! xoxox

know most of the food for the buffet will be planned a few days before the wedding but I wanted to go over details for table settings, (sizes of round and rectangular tables) as I need to purchase organza table runners.

THE SIZE OF THE ROUND TABLES:

THE TOP OF THE TABLE IS 1.6 METER OF DIAMETER = 5.25 feets

THE HEIGHT IS 1.20 metet = 3.94 feets

Can you confirm where we can have our cocktail hour and how it is set up? We do not want to have it at the Desires lounge. Do you have pictures of this?

WE CAN OFFER YOU THE GARDEN AREA OR BEACH AREA FOR THE COCKTAIL HOUR, I DO NOT HAVE PICTURES YET.

THE SET UP FEE TO FOR THE LANTERNS IS $ 200 USD,

Where do you set up the guest table cards? Do you have pictures of this?

WE SET UP A SMALL TABLE FOR THE NAMES, YOU CAN CHECK WITH THIS COUPLE:

Laura & Don | February 26th 2010 | Dreams, Cancun Mexico

I was wondering how much it would cost to set up a small station with two appetizers at this location?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE TOTAL OF GUESTS FOR THE WELCOME PARTY IN THE DESIRE TERRACE, IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR 85 GUESTS, AS SOON AS YOU LE TME KNOW I CAN CHECK SOME OPTIONS FOR THE COCKTAIL (hmm I was told the desire terrace lounge holds up to 95??)

I WOULD LIKE TO EXPLAIN YOU THAT THE ULTIMATE WEDDING PACKAGE INCLUDE A MARIACHI TRIO, AND IS NOT ALLOW TO PLAY IN A RESTAURANT WHICH IS OPEN FOR THE GUEST

I will need 10 additional bridal bouquets. ($65 per bmhuh.gif)

YES, TOTAL $ 650 FOR 10 BRIDESMAID BOUQUET

Rose petals for the flower girls.

$ 22 USD PER BAG

some more info from ana..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
