Hi Brides! I too want the acrylic cups with our logo! The best pricing I have found for a small quantity is from DiscountMugs.com (http://www.discountmugs.com/nc/sports-bottles/2816/16-oz-double-wall-acrylic-tumbler-with-straw.htm). They have several styles and colors, and I think that $3.99 a piece is reasonable for what it is, but that would be too spendy if we had more guests (we only need 25.) We're also ordering coozies, those are only a buck a piece. I haven't found cheaper, please share if you know of a better deal somewhere online! I tried to go through a local printer too but that was going to be much more expensive, since our quantity was so low. Where else have other brides found good "promo" items for their big day?

Thanks so much for finding the page number for me, I would have never had the patience to look. It does look very beautiful, I'm actually pleasantly surprised. Now my only concern is being so close to the other wedding party that will be on the pool deck. I'm positive we'll be able to hear their music. When is your wedding date ?

Hey girl!  I'm so glad you were pleasently surprised!  I was too when I first saw it.  I've looked at as many pictures as I could find of an ariel view of the hotel to see how close they are.  I don't know how much you'll be able to hear the other wedding. My travel agent 3 way called Evangelina and asked her flat out if it would interfere and she said absolutely not....who knows if she's lying but I just feel like pretending she's telling the truth-LOL.  My wedding is June 3rd.  I saw you're May 10th so just a month before us!  Fun!  Are you using the resort DJ?

Hey Sophie- Congrats and welcome!! I have plenty of information let me know what specifically your looking for and I will email you. The coordinators have been difficult to get in contact with however I keep hearing that they will be in touch with you closer to wedding date and manage to pull everything off. I have been getting most of my questions answered from this forum. I'm not going to worry about it because all of the past brides always have great reviews.  I will be arriving on 7/26/12 so I am sure we will catch each other.

If any of you lovely ladies could email me any useful info on decor, dinner, vendor and other detailed info that I could use to plan the wedding that would be great!  I also have a hard time getting answers from Yamina or Evangelina.  Its going to drive me nuts til the wedding is over and thats too bad because we should all be enjoying this process especially because that is the reason why we all chose a destination wedding.

 

Also did anyone receive a detailed info package that describes how much everything costs like table runners, decor etc?  Sorry if it has already been posted or asked.

Hi I see that many of you are saying that the coordinators are saying your locations are no longer available even though you had requested them in advance. When I made my deposit I got the confirmation with the site locations and time confirming that. 

Does anyone know about day passes for those not staying at the resort? 

I was told its 55 dollars, but she did not explain if that means they can hang out at the resort all day?

I'm using Adventure Photos but I am bringing in a videographer for an outrageous fee.  He called them and negotiated with them so I'm not sure exactly what the fee is.  They are very difficult with it and I recommend including them as a guest to the wedding and paying for a room for them.

I am not keen on their "approved vendors" adventure photos...and have my own photog...do any of you know indefinitely if this is allowed?  I would be surprised if it wasnt...i dont see how that affects them, plus they should have more choices then.

I ordered my flowers from AlexisGraceDesigns on etsy!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!  They came out so great....

These are them and when I got them in person I was even more thrilled!  Some of them even feel real.

 

One thing I don't like though, is someone in the shop smokes...so they had a faint cigarette smell when I got them.  It is gone now because I am keeping them in vases in their case with candles to freshen the sent.  I think the smell will fully disappear before the wedding if it hasn't already.  And I am thrilled with my flowers so I am satisfied!

 

I will say they resort quoted me an outrageous price for orchids too and I really wanted a tropical feel.  I am happy with me decision.
