See, when I first booked my wedding, Ana told my TA that they only did one wedding a day...so therefore I didn't have very many day available to pick from. Then, I guess with the growing popularity of the resort, they moved to 2 weddings a day. But 3 weddings a day! Isn't that a bit much and moving alot of people around? I'm sure they will do great but hopefully they'll call it quits at 3!

Ursula, the rough timeline I had in mind for the 11 wedding was mani/pedi, hair & makeup in the morning, 11 ceremony, pics, then a late lunch. Then everyone could just relax until the cocktail and dinner hour. My thought was then we'd be there to be a part of it all, and our guests could hang by the pool during pictures. I guess I'll be rethinking if it's at 3, though... I guess there isn't a bad time when you think about it. Leigh, I really appreciate your thoughts! With an earlier wedding, there's more of a photographer challenge if you want them at the reception, too.

 

I love the barefoot sandals! They were so cute in the pics!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
