The dj is only for the reception, so for the cocktail hour you can have a mariachi band or a caribbean trio - if you have the ultimate package you get one set from either the trio or the mariachi band as part of the package...and you can use it at any time. So we're doing a cd for the ceremony, mariachi for the cocktail hour and dj for the reception.
As for the tables, I'm going down next month and I'm planning to get that from Ana -it's top of my list - because we want to bring our own linens for the welcome dinner to keep the costs down. I'll be sure to post that AND the size of the arch they use on the beach for anyone who wants to bring thier own decor for that as well.
