Ha! Ha! So I had my first cancun wedding dream and Ana was in it. She was showing me around the property and I was telling her how bad she needed an assistant! LOL! Woke up before I made it down the isle but it was a good dream!

That's funny! I had to stop planning at night because all I would do was dream about Mexico!! My TA told me that Ana was supposed to get an assistant last week (I think she said they have 300+ weddings booked) so maybe your dreams will now be about how SMOOTHLY everything is running!!

Love your DREAM! so funny .. I continue to send emails to everyone in the sun at the resort and I never get a good response! They always only answer one question .. weeks later... and I always ask like 10 questions!

Ok.. 1 more thing.. Does anyone know the measurements of the tables offered? round and rectagularhuh.gif I need to purchase linens and dont know and Ana doesnt respond.

I would advise anyone who is using DJ DOREMIXX to contact him directly to make sure he is reserved for your big day. Ana told me for weeks we were reserved only to find out he had nothing for our date. Im glad I emailed him!!

From what I have heard and what my TA told me you need to be there a couple days before. Will you be getting legally married there? If so you may want to be there about 3 days before to get all your documents translated and your blood work done. I think some people just get legally married in the states then have a symbolic or renewal of vows type ceremony in Mexico.

ha ha thats too funny, we 'booked' DJ Doremixx as well, thank goodness Ivan is on here as well, I had commented how happy I was to book him and get another thing checked off on one of the threads about him, so he sent me a private message saying he had no idea, like what a gong show

I'm from Van as well and was wondering what travel agent your using? I've met with 2 so far and I've mentioned that DRC is my number one choice right now to both but they seem to talk about the resorts they are "specialists" in... meaning they probably get extra commission when you book one of those resorts!

Any help is appreciated!
Lisa

There are also TAs on here that I know are fantastic, and also definitely (and obviously) DW specialists. TA Jill, for example, is very knowledgeable about Dreams, and there is a Canadian TA on here too but I can't remember who that is at the moment... in any case, just click on the banner at the top if you're interested in that option.

Good Luck :)

Hey princess402, I am using Liz's business partner Susan! I think they are wonderful dont you? What is your wedding date?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
