Thanks for sharing. It seems like the in house photographer does a pretty good job.

I think this couple just picked the alternate location, because their other pictures are outside and the weather looks great! The alternate location looks good though, so that is a relief.

I noticed that their reception was in a restaurant.... I wonder how they managed that one? I emailed the resort to find out about the restaurant closing and to see if they all are always opened... I was told there is usually one closed per day, based on occupancy. I wonder if you could use the one that is closed for your reception if the weather is bad? I do not want my reception in their "ballroom".... I do not like the looks of it, too business looking.

I mentioned earlier about the golf not being included, I finally heard back from Dreams and they told me "Unfortunately, after May 1, 2010, golf will be 195 USD per game...." I am SOOOO pissed about this! One of the reason I picked the resort is because my FI and father are big golfers and looked forward to playing golf at El Cameleon.... now, they may play one time, but they have to pay almost $250 with the cart fees and green fees!!! I think this is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. My TA is trying to work on this for me because I think they should honor it, since when we booked they offered complimentary golf. .... just an FYI for any of you who told your guests golf was included

Thanks for sharing the pictures! How did you find those? I wonder what the situation was with the restaurant...

Pictures were beautiful! Makes me so excited for my day!!! I loved her flower arrangement also. Since Ana is sooo busy, I don't want to bother her with little things so can anyone tell me what the weather is like the end of October and when the sunset is? Ana has still not let me pick my time. Also, any other October brides out there...what colors are yall doing? And, is anyone having a gazebo wedding?

Do we get the honeymoon suite? I just booked a garden view room.
We had to book the honeymoon suite. There are only like 3 on the property is what my TA told me. I wonder what the rooms are next to the suite...maybe some of my guest can book them so at least we'll be next to ppl we know? Also, was the suite spacious? I've heard it's just a little bigger than the regular rooms and I'm worried about getting ready on the big day and having enough room for everyone to fit in. We looked into upgrading to the Master Suite but the difference in price was large and I'ld rather it go towards my photographer. Did u happen to take any pics of the room when you stayed there?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
