With blue I think this is kinda cool
Those blue drinks look awesome! That's what I was thinking with oranges on the side of the glass. Although I have no idea what kind of drink that would go with!

If so, where are you planning on having it? I had thought we might do the garden area because it would be a change in scenery and this way the guests would not all be watching us take our photos...ha! But I am having a hard time picturing how it would be set up. Just wondering what everyone else is planning on doing. For those of you who have chosen to use it towards a welcome dinner instead, what does that mean? Will you have a set up similar to the cocktail hour?
I was hoping to have my cocktail hour at the jacuzzi area if they could put the cover over it. I just emailed Ana with the question about the cocktail hour and asked if she had any pictures of a cocktail hour that has taken place. I like the idea of having it in the garden too! I will let you know what she says.

so far Gabi has been super responsive, and they quoted me USD 6 per chair, they only have white or gold, that was fine for me as I wanted white anyway, and white and ivory cushions (included in the price) we went with white chair, white cushion.

Hope that helps
Thank you!!! I will definitely be looking into that this weekend!

I am planning on shredding paper in our wedding colors and having that as the "padding" in the shipping boxes. So each person we are inviting will get a package in the mail instead of an envelope. We are requesting our guests respond by May 1st even though our wedding isn't until the end of October. But I need to get a handle on a budget. We are hopefully sending them out by the end of January.

I LOVE the message in a bottle idea. I am going to try to incorporate somewhere into the wedding. Thanks for sharing!! When you get them finished, please post a picture.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
