Oh, that is not what I was under the impression for the rehearsal dinner.  I don't think you need to shut down the restaurant.  I'm having a gathering the day before my wedding but not for all guests and what Gina told me was the $15/pp but the restaurant will have other people in it but we will have a table and not have to wait.

I brought them.  I got them off of Etsy but they would be very easy to make.  We were short some numbers for the frames though, that they did for us.

Sorry for all the questions lately, I just got into wedding planning mode and my wedding is less then 3 months away !

we are doing them :) I think it's a nice gesture when everyone is coming so far for the wedding.

We ordered the set of 20 bags from Wedding Chicks

http://shop.weddingchicks.com/bienvenidos-chevron-stripe-welcome-wedding-tote-set-of-20/

They run specials every once in awhile where you can get a discount. Ours turned out super cute!

As far as the contents we are doing:

-bubba kegs (for people to use at the pool and beach)

-koozies http://www.totallyweddingkoozies.com/)

-playing cards

-medicine (tylenol and pepto)

-chapstick

-kleenex

-underwater camera (this is still up in the air b/c we can't find good prices on them)

-sunscreen (we got travel sizes recently at target for 92 cents)

-aloe vera

-hand sanitizer

-bandaids

-puzzle books (like sudoku, crossword puzzles, etc)

-welcome brochure/letter

Hey girls!

I ordered our maracas on Wednesday from Amols and got them yesterday! I just wanted to let y'all know that they are excellent quality incase anyone is thinking about using these in their wedding! You have to get assorted colors so they may not match your wedding colors, but I love them and can't wait to use them at the wedding!! And they were only $2/pair!!

http://www.amols.com/catalog/traditional-maracas-pair

We plan on putting these on everyones ceremony chair with their program with a note tied to it saying "shake this maraca with all your might as you see the groom kiss his new wife"

cheesy i know, but people will get the point and know what they're supposed to do :)

Your ideas are great! I think I should do that being as we have alot of people traveling for our wedding, just about 100! It just gets so expensive with so many people. I've been looking at koozies becuase I think thats a great idea. Have you recieved yours yet, if so how is the quality?

My laptop is playing up so still haven't managed to look at your photos, but I cant wait!!!!

We have had our hearts set on the seaside grill as our reception venue and haven't come across anyone who has already had it there so you are the first!

Our wedding is booked through our travel agent however they have been useless! we are now starting to go directly to Evangelina to choose our options as it is creeping up on us far quicker tham we imagined (8 months to go!)  Our TA requested with the hotel that we have the Seaside Grill as our reception venue but Evangelina said that we will have to wait until we arrive in resort to see if they can close the restaurant especially for us! (i really do not want to wait until we arrive in resort).

Shall I keep emailing her and hopefully she will give in????????

Also how many guests did you have in total at your reception????

I am going to try and look at your photos again, hopefully it works!

Many thanks

Robyn

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
