The only issue is we wanted to have a Fiesta night and Tequila Tasting in Elpatio and was told we they cant accomadate the 85 people sad.gif so I am not sure what we are going to do there. Ana said I couldnt have the Mariachi Band in the restaurant.. which is odd because when I was there for dinner there was a Mariachi Trio playing for the guests?? Hmm not sure.. but I believe I will have to investigate further. I haven't been on in awhile... Congrats to all the new brides and the ones that just got married! Your pics are fantastic!!!!!!!!

Just had to let you all know there is HOPe!!!!!! Its a beautiful day!!! xoxox
That would be awesome if we could see what questions you had and the answers, as I am sure most of us have the same questions :)
Thanks!

For the lady who did do this and had the pink table runner - which lengths did you get? and how many? Thanks!
I would like to know this as well. Dreams charges a fee for color napkins, table runners, etc. correct? If that is the case, I will probably just buy some online and would like to know what lengths I'll need. Thanks!

These are the organza table runners I used. They looked great!
12x108 embroideried beaded organza table runner-Fuchsia50209(1pc/pk)
They are 12in X 108in!.
I actually left at least 10 of them there at the resort. ANA should have them.
They laid them on the tables where all the buffet food was on and all 6 guests table! Hope this helps...Leigh
Don't bother with the colored napkins. You wont need them.

They also won't automatically send the flowers and champagne to your room unless you talk to the concierge first. The honeymoon package was great! We had so much fun with it :)

Don't worry about it Megan! What you have done is all that you need to do before you go. I would make a list for yourself of everything that you want to talk to Ana about when you meet with her though...menus, flowers, extra decorations, music (if you are using sound system), etc. This way, when you meet with her, you will be very organized and get all of your questions answered. I didn't write this stuff down and there were things that I forgot when I met with her. Oh, and if you have any of your own decorations, favors, etc. you should bring them with you to give to Ana when you meet with her and write down for her exactly what you want done with them. Also, she will take you around and show you the options for ceremony sites and reception/cocktail hour sites if you haven't totally decided on a location for something. I finalized all of my details with her once I got there, not before. Hope this helps!
Laura-- If you didn't know until you got there what locations you were going to have the ceremony, cocktail and reception... etc. How did you go about making the info sheet/itenerary for your guests of what time and where everything would take place? ?

Haha! Good question :) I got there a few days before my mom did and after I met with Ana, I called my mom at home and she added all of the information to the itinerary sheet. So, she brought them with her to Mexico and I just gave them out at our Welcome dinner.

Hey Leigh!

Can you tell me where your husband got his Linen suit with the linen vest?!?! They looked amazing and my fiance is looking for the same ones! Loved the pictures, thanks for posting them.

Has anyone attempted to make the picture frame sand ceremony frame? I was hoping I could find one that I do not have to drill holes into the top but no luck.

I would buy one online but I am so over budget and they are all pretty pricey.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
