Dreams Riviera Cancun - Brides post here (new thread)

We booked an oceanfront plunge pool room for our trip, and that is a bummer that they are not truly oceanfront. Oh well I am sure that the view will still be amazing and we won't really be spending that much time in our rooms anyways!

By the way I leave in exactly 1 month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay I am trying to print off some pictures for ideas for our photography that we are taking with us. I am really liking some of the photos ideas from the on site photographer. But I am unable to print any pictures off their site.

Does any of you know who photographers other the the adventure that have taken pics at the resort that you can print the pictures off their site?

Selinabilly, green is the color of foliage, so you can do pretty much any flower color or an assortment. What do you like? What flatters your skin tone?

I'm suddenly stressed about the sound system. We're thinking of using the gazebo, but I'm wondering - is the pool too noisy there? What music or sound comes with the packages? (We're doing the ultimate.) Will we need a sound system? Any knowledge any of you have about this would be greatly appreciated!

We had a preferred club ocean view jacuzzi room on the 5th floor and it was absolutely amazing. I'm so glad we didn't spend all the extra money for a honeymoon suite. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and resort from our bed! I also had a great view of the gazebo from our balcony, so I got to see my groom and the guests waiting for me!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
