We had about 2 hours (maybe a little less) between the ceremony and reception.
I'll probably just bring enough for both then, and that's fantastic that she didn't charge you extra to put them on the chairs - I hope she sticks with that!

Yes, I think you have to rent the speakers for your ceremony if you want to have them.

Full day $ 110 USD per person

However no definition of what a half day or a full day is smile27.gif
My TA told me it was $85 full day 9am to 10pm

The cost of the pass plus the hassle of transportation?? ugh! And my TA said you have to go thru a security checkpoint when you check in and out of the resort!
Soooooooo not worth it but some people will do anything to save $$

I am in the same situation except the people we know just booked at another resort. Now we are in a position were we feel like we have to pay for the pass for them to attend the wedding. What would you girls do pay for there pass or not?

That sucks. Personally I would not pay for their pass. They made the choice to stay at a different resort so I don't really think it's fair if you have to pay for them to come in. They may not have known about the whole day pass thing when they booked but at the very least they should have asked!!!

On another note, these photos of a recent wedding were posted on the FB fan page:

Just thought I'd share in case anyone hasn't seen them. I think they are fab - enjoy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
