Our colors are turquoise/blue and orange/coral/pink, so when I came across the set up (see link) I really liked it, I might just ask Ana to duplicate it, all in blue no green though
Funny, I was just looking at this same photo this morning and had copied it to a WORD document too! I was about to email Ana, to ask if that is what my table cloth would look like. I think it looks nice with the wooden chairs. But I'm pretty sure those are extra. I was going to ask how much they cost to rent. Are you looking at the wooden chairs too? Or just the tables.

I like your color choices. I am doing turqoise and have recently changed from chocolate to orange as an accent color. I may have to look into the orange/coral/pink combo too :)

I really like these pictures too!!! I haven't totally decided on my colours yet but have been leaning towards a turquoise and coral colour scheme, with hints of brown and maybe lime green and royal blue (okay so I'm a little all over the place...). The turquoise blue table cloths look so good with the wooden chairs!

I would be curious to know what kind of chairs are included with the packages (and whether it differs by package?), and which are extra (and how much $$ extra). I've seen pics with these brown chairs, similar looking chairs in white, and then most resorts also have the typical chairs with white covers and chair bows which I also think are lovely (but I can't say that I've seen pics of this type yet at DRC). If you find out more about this from Ana, can you let us know?

Ohhh I'm obsessed with the Martha Stewart destination issue - I bought the magazine and then created my own "newsletter" in pink and orange :) I'll see if I can attach it. The templates on the martha stewart website weren't my color scheme which is why I created my own.

I love the centerpeice pictures - thank you so much for posting that link!

I imagine that you could buy more if you like them. The photos that are included with the package will be taken by the resort photographer... I can't remember who the resort photographer is but I'm sure this is mentioned elsewhere on this thread... I think they are called Adventure Photos or something like that? If you've booked the ultimate package then Ana would book the photographer for you for your wedding, but you may want to check with her exactly how long you have the photographer for to make sure you get the coverage you want.
Normajeane, I was looking back through some old posts and realized I was wrong about who the in-house photographer is. Looks like you may be able to request Juan Navarro or Sweet Caribbean? (see the post from SDbeachgirl below)

I've heard of Adventure Photos (or something like that) on the Facebook fan page but I think they may just be for taking guest photos during the day and not for wedding photography.

Sweet Caribbean ? Wedding photo and principal

These are the photographers that come with the wedding package. She also told me that if I would like to use another photographer, I can let her know and she will "see what she can do". Of course since the wedding package comes with a photographer I am gong to research these. I have read a few posts on Juan Navarro but haven't heard anything about Sweet Caribbean Photography.

Thank you for your help!
I have to say that I have looked at the Juan Navarro photos, and he just isn't my style. I am going to look into other photographers. Elizabeth Medina is amazing, but I wonder what her pricing is like. I am going to request her if possible.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
