Has anyone decided what location to have their ceremony at?

There is another wedding on the same date as mine so I originally nervous I wouldnt get the deck (thats what I wanted all along) and now I'm nervous that if the other bride chooses the pool area her party will be right next to mine. Ana has assured me that everything will be perfect but I worry too much.

Any way hope everyone enjoys the pics.
I too would love to see pictures. I didn't really decided on where yet, all I don't want is the gazebo. I was thinking of everything on the beach, but I wasn't aware of anyother places to have them.

there is no reason to be nervous, it is so nice there!!! The pictures are exactly how the resort looks, if not better. My parents travel a lot and my mom said it was one of the nicest she has been to. the staff is so friendly too!!!

Thank you, congras to you as well. We just went for a really quick weekend, a Thursday to a Sunday and that was perfect to check it out. Claudia is awesome. She is so nice and made me feel so comfortable about everything. She gave me the recommendations on the time, she talk to the wedding coordinator for me too. She is so helpful and i really trust her opinion.

My fiance is going for a site visit and to meet with Ana on Friday. We have a wedding to go to on the Isle of Mujeres, and I cannot take extra time off of work to go, so I am sending him a day early to take care of biz. Should I ask him to look out for something particular? I of course have a list of questions for him to ask Ana, but I am afraid I am missing something.

My colors are pink and orange too!! I just saw that JCrew has thier Spring 2010 colors posted on thier website for bridesmaid dresses and there's a super cute pink in chiffon that I think I'm going to go with!

Also ladies - Ana sent me some pictures of weddings she did at her last resort (orange and pink only) - so if anyone is interested in seeing a few tablecloth, centerpeice, place setting options - feel free to pm me or post your email and I'll send it...I don't know how to post the pictures on here and it seems like most people can't open attachments anyway.

I am that 'other bride'. I feel the same way you do as far as not wanting both wedding parties side by side that would be... awkward and not very private. My travel agent just got back last week from a visit/meeting with Ana at the Dreams and said everything looks great and that there are tons of creative options for set-ups of the reception and stuff. So no worries :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
