Same! I love the flowers in your hair! Are they natural or artificial?

@@FUTURE MDB - Did you bring your own sand ceremony stuff or was it the one that comes with the wedding package?

Getting closer for us.  We have a site tour scheduled July 15th.  I'm honestly starting to regret going to Dreams because I just can't put my head around paying the food and beverage additional when it's all inclusive.  It just seems like such a waste and because I have lots of design desires our number is getting up there.  Wish me luck...

Also, is anyone considering having their ceremony at the interest?  I've seen a few pics that appear to be at the front of the resort.

also have any past or future brides know if having a couple signature drinks is an option?

and for the brides that have brought their own decorations (i.e. chair sashes, table overlays, etc), does the DRC wedding staff set that up for you if you pay the set up fee or does the set up fee only include setting up things bought directly from DRC? Trying to plan if DRC will be able to put on the chair sashes or if someone from my family will have to do it.

@Mention the DRC staff sets it all up for you and cleans it all up for you! The fee is 100.00 located on your budget planner. Worth every penny. They'll deliver your stuff back to your room the day after the wedding. I took all of my stuff down to the wedding coordinator in my luggage bag and they return the stuff in it.

I did not have a signature drink, but everyone loved "purple rain" and ordered it all weekend long so it became our sig drink!

I took my vase down with me that I purchased at Michaels. They provided the sand and the two separate little vases.

@@tkennerson, I purchased artificial flowers from Etsy.

@@Wedding2014 I purchased them off of etsy, honestly I do not recommend buying them from the owner because they literally took 1 month to get to me and it was a huge mess, but i'll get ya'll the link just order well in advance!!!

I'm going to do a site tour in July.  We've actually already booked but we want to go early to really get a look at everything and make a few selections.  Does anyone know if they offer special room rates for this.

did you decide to use the cellar for your welcome reception?  We're actually considering it for our wedding rehearsal.

Hey! When is your site tour?

We are getting married Sept 28th, 2014. My coordinator has contacted me and sent lots of great info. I sent her about 20 questions back. Hopefully she will get back quickly. Does my one know if the DJ brings his own sound system or do we need to pay the $180 for sound system plus $300/hour for Dj. Also will they allow you to use sparklers on pool terrace or do you have to go to beach?

I also received some important info from adventure photography. Here is a site to go to for when sunset is on your wedding day. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/astronomy.html?n=923&month=4&year=2014&obj=sun&afl=-11&day=1

He told me Dreams sunset will be 15 min before the time posted. He said to schedule pics one hour before that time.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
