The bridesmaid dresses are Dessy, I live in Vancouver Canada so you wouldn't be getting them from the same place ( LOL ).

They were truly beautiful on each and every girl.................it took the bridesmaids a very long time to find a dress that they all liked.

The color was cotton candy, Dessy was the only bridesmaid line that had that color pink.

1) The spa had 3 weddings that day and they were totally behind schedule.  I was supposed to get may hair done at 2:00 they did not start me until 3:15 my ceremony was at 5:00. I did not get out of there until 4:00 and the photographer was waiting at my door..............I had no makeup on yet etc........needless to say we ran out of time for a lot of pre wedding photos I would like to have had.

2) They used way too much hairspray...........I was wanting my hair to be a little softer and it was so stiff and stringy because of all the spray.

Things again that could be fixed, book early appointments and have a hair trial.

They will do a great job if you tell them exactly what it is.  I think they do all braids, everyone was having them done.

I have a picture of how i want my hair to look, so fingers crossed they do a good job

I'll tell them not to use too much hair spray! :)

Hi! thanx for all of your help. I was wondering if you could tell me more about the Fantasy Island option ? I don't know much about it. . . is it in a different location & what does it include that the others do not? i am wondering if it turns out as a better option than picking out everything seperate like the lighting and centerpeices etc. . . i dont see any info about it on the website jsut a picture of it where it looks beautiful. any insight on this would be very helpful. thank you!

Hey Lindsey! Did you bring your own centerpieces or did they do it for you?? If they did your centerpieces do you mind sharing how much? I'm trying to decide if it's worth bringing my own or not.

Thank you!!

Thank you!!

They did them.  :)  I just showed them a picture.  If I would have brought my own it would have been SO AGGRAVATING with packing them and worrying about how they looked or if they would be damaged.  I would absolutely not recommend that.  That being said, I believe they were around $100 each...and I have 8 of them..so that is up to you!  We did end up getting a credit because I bought all of my own flowers for the girls and guys and myself and didn't use the ones in the package..  I didn't pay $800 for the centerpieces because they credited me, does that make sense?

I doooo recommend bringing fake flowers for your bouquets and boutonnieres.  IT was SOOOOO HOT that my real flowers would've wilted in like a second!  If you want an etsy recommendation, I'd be happy to tell you one!

Hi Ladies:

I am here, I arrived yesterday, my wedding is Monday. Lorena is a darling, Linda too. We had a great first meeting. A lot of emotions and excitment. I am a ball of nerves, but I cannot express how beautiful the grounds are and the service is so far superb. I want to thank this website, my travel agent Barbara from Wright travel. All the brides and their savy advice you were all a lifesaver. My soon to be photographer Victor and Sara Herrera and their wonderful communication skills through this process. Carlos Gallardo Video, can't wait to work with him. I will give my review when I get back. Ladies, I did communicate to Lorena their lack of communication and how they can get better. They really need to do a better job at it. I gave example of some of you all concerns. I even showed her this website and how they need to be more responsive and do some sort of QA pre-made questionaire so we don't all ask the same 500 questions.

Sheila

Someone wanted to know about the quality of the Koozies I ordered from http://www.totallyweddingkoozies.com...

AWESOME!!!  We got ours in the mail last week and they are so cute and really good quality. And they give you a free bride and groom one with your order! :) These are something that I know everyone will use at the resort and after the wedding and they were cheap! Customer service from the website was great too. You can pretty much customize them however you want! I will post a picture soon!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
