Looks like we are getting married on the same day!  So exciting!  I can't help you with the table sizes because ours are abnormal sizes, but I just wanted to introduce myself as we will probably be running into one another!  Countdown is on!  See you soon!

I've been having the same issue lately and by lately I mean last 2 months. We discussed almost all details over during our site visit and that's the only reason I'm not having a panic attack. I agree with liua- cc the main email address and maybe try calling if you can. Good luck!

You may want to send the email and CC it to weddings.drerc@dreamsresorts.com. Hopefully someone will pick up the email and forward it to your planner.

Hey girlie! I had almost forgotten, you're a day before us. :)

1. On our site visit Gina informed us that they provide the sand/vases for the ceremony. However, I don't know how much of an overprice that is in comparison to Michael's or another comparative site here.

5. I used orientaltrading.com and the price was really reasonable for the maracas. Sign up for emails and you'll receive a code for free shipping.

Hope it helps. :)

1. Does the resort provide the sand ceremony?? Ithought I remember reading somewhere that they did provide that.

2. For cake cutting should we bring our own knife for that also??

3. Did they give anyone a hard time or do a bad job with the pressing of the dress and husbands clothing??

4. Did anyone use bubbles or are you allowed to have bubbles for after the ceremony??

5. Looking for plain maracas to order as favors. Can anyone recomend a site that is not ridiculously priced?? I would need about 65 pairs of maracas

That is all i can think of right now but as with everything else I am sure I will remember anything else after I post this.

I was there in April for our site visit and got to see the dance floor in almost every area (there were 2-3 weddings every day). It really depends on the way it's set up in relation to the tables. Based on my observations, guests seemed to use it the most when the floor was in the middle and tables around it, even if that means having some of your tables set up on the beach. Of course, this is just my suggestion. Tiny details seem to take over, good luck. :)

any opinions especially from people who have maybe seen any of these options or had them would SOOOOOOOOOO be appreciated!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
