Ahhhh!!!!safe travels, congratulations and other happy thoughts!!!

One more full day before we leave!!!  Tomorrow my family is coming to stay with us.  I am getting my mani/pedi and have a family sleepover!  Then we leave at 3:45 in the morning on Tuesday!!!!  Everything is packed and ready except my make up and I cannot freaking wait!!!! I will say, last night, after doing some customs research, fiance and I took apart all of our packed wedding supply luggage.  We photocopied invoices and divided up each suit case to make sure it's not more than $300 worth of supply.  We highlighted the things in each suitcase and the cost.  We also created itemized lists.  I read some horror stories so we wanted each suitcase to be black and white, clear as day.  I'm not sure if we needed to go through all of that trouble but I will take pics for anyone who wants to see it when we get to the hotel. We're bringing our lap top because we need to communicate with some business back home.  Probably will not be near the computer tomorrow. I will try and update from the resort!  Talk to you ladies when we get back!!! PS - two of our guests arrived today because they extended their stay.  The said it's AMAZING!!!

Hi guys, My wedding is quickly approaching and I still haven't chosen my flowers. I'm trying to choose a bouquet from the catalog and also match the bridesmaids bouquets. They have turquoise dresses and I was thinking of a bright pink flower but wanted it to match my bouquet asnwell. Any suggestions?? I was going to go with fuscia orchids for the bridesmaids and have mine be white, but since it was not an included bridal bouquet it was going to be like $250, wo I decided to choose one from the catalog. I don't know if you can pick a bouquet from the catalog and change any of the colors in it or what? Any advice would be helpful !!

Hi AshMarie,

Yes you can pick any bouquet from the catalogue and change the colours to what you would like, i have seen so many pictures of lovely bouquets from past brides and when i got sent the catalogue i was really dissapointed but i guess in the colours you want they will look fab!

Hi Ladies,

Iâ€m new to this forum and in the process of reading through all the posts. I found a lot the good information and useful tips. We just booked our wedding for January 6TH, 2013 at DRC. Lorena will be our wedding coordinator. The email seems like taking forever to get through, and Iâ€m anxious to waiting on reply sad.gif. With less than 6 months Iâ€m nervous that I donâ€t get many things done. Does anyone have a schedule or to do list that I could use as reference. I really want to know when we should confirm the ceremony location, reception location etc. Any suggestion would be awesome.

Happy planning all!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
