I just added you!  I can't find a spot to message you though?  So it's me, Lindsey Christine, that added you!

We had the Preferred Honeymoon with ocean view. All we had to do was walk on the balcony and there was the ocean. It was beautiful and we loved the room. It was room 1401

You looked AMAZING!  Your wedding just made me so excited for ours!  I am thrilled for you.  Thank you for letting me look at your photos!

I look at the webcam like every day!  It's been raining there a lot lately.  I am not so much worried about rain on the wedding day itself but for our whole trip!  We went in June last year and it rained SO MUCH!  Like...literally 5 of the 7 days.  I am afraid it will rain for our guests!

We booked the most basic room and then was upgraded upon arrival to Preferred club suite ocean front. Then for our last 3 nights we were upgraded again to the Presidential suite. I have no idea why we were upgraded twice but it was great. We stayed for 2 weeks so that could have something to do with it.

Did anyone schedule a meeting with the photographers? I want to but I feel like I'm over thinking it.

I plan on meeting with Lorena (WC), Linda (Officiant) at a rehearsal on the beach, Anel (photos) and Maurico (DJ).

It wouldn't be a long meeting, we would just talk about a list of desired photos I would want, what time I want to start, where my room is, introduce myself, etc.

Any recommendations?

Gina, did you feel that having your ceremony start at 4 pm was the perfect time? Or would you have changed it to earlier or later?

If I could of I would of changed it to later. I wanted it as close to sunset as they would let me. I had wanted it at about 5 but when I booked it they told me 4. I do know they had another wedding but not sure of what time. It was hot. I keept holding my dress up some cause my legs were sweating so bad. Hope I answered your question.

If you don't want it dark for when the reception start then I would say 4pm was a really good time. It didn't start getting dark till we were half way through with the reception. But we only had 14 people with us so it didn't last the whole 3 hrs.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
