Im sure as long as you have all your emails everything will be fine!

Same...sigh... this will be my third coordinator!  Yamina was taking a little while to respond, so I guess this explains why.  Is Lorena the only other coordinator?

Hi LindseyM!

We leave in 18 days and I am beginning to pack as well.  I am putting my flowers in a small carry on bag.  I am nervous to have the flowers checked in too.  Try a smaller roller suitcase.  all of my flowers fit with bubble wrap perfectly.  Good luck!  We are almost there!  i can't believe it!

I think that is what I will end up doing!  I know they check them so I am bringing the invoice for the fake flowers.  How many bouquets are you bringing?  I hope I can get them all in.  You bought bubble wrap for them?

well that is good to know!!  I think most of our details are confirmed so it's just a matter of making sure Lorena has all the info.  NERVES!!!

I will say that she has been excellent at responding to emails. She always responds timely and her responses always answer my questions.

Hope this helps!

Good luck!!!

It was super fun!  We booked it through AMStar before we got there because we got a 10% discount if we booked early through them.  It was around $134 per person.  We left the resort around 12:30 and got back around 5:30 or so.  The people were so nuce there--they even gave my husband and I free t-shirts since we had just gotten married-super sweet.  They had lunch for us after(late-around 4:30) and you could buy coronas and stuff there.

I highly recommend it-was a blast!  OH!  Plus, our group was 9 people and they made a deal with us to get all the pictures and video.  It was somehting like $70/per couple for just videos but they gave us our whole group pitures and videos for $150.  We were really happy with that!

Try not to be nervous.  They are all so nice there and take really good care of the brides and the weddings.  Try as much as you can to just enjoy every moment----goes by way too fast!!!   Congrats!

You're welcome!  Don't worry, we met Jorge when we went down and he was awesome.  I am sure he is briefed on all of the stuff too.  Good luck!

No no, I think Gina is still there.  I am not sure other than that but Lorena's email is "weddings4" so that makes me think there are four of them!

We cant decide between Xel Ha and Xcaret they both look so good!

Make sure to check into Selavtica too--we LOVED IT:)   And I would recommend booking through AMStar--they were great and did not seem to be marking up the prices.  They actually gave us a 10% DISCOUNT when we booked through them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
