I'm carrying a ton also- we are flying with Frontier and your allowed one free checked bag each additional is 20 dollars. I think you should just carry on your bouquets because its not worth taking the risk of checking them!

I agree.  I actually think now that I'm done work for the summer [yaaay teacher] I am going to start packing wedding supplies and trying to figure out the best way to organize things safely.  We looked at frontier but in the end US is a client of Kevin's sooooo....we went with them!  Where are you flying out of?

hey guys

I've looked into this and have decided what were going to do. we feel like were getting a good deal on the catamaran.

first i asked our TA and obviously they are more expensive then the resort, so i got a recommendation from gina.

she lead us to ALEJANDRA OROZCO....

giving us a private catamaran for a discounted price. (as long as you guarantee or at least pay for 25 people)

4 hours, open bar, snacks, snorkeling and all fees and tips included for $81 per person.

we wanted to do a lunch, but what they offered was definitely not worth it for the quality, and we figured since were going 10-2 that you can eat breakfast before and lunch after.

he's giving us a 10% discount, and if your going to pay in cash when you get there it will save you the paypal fee, or the cc fee on top of the exchange fee!

email me if you want me to send you the pics he sent me joda724@gmail.com

heres the info... very responsive, very helpful, and very reasonable.

Joe, let me track it down in my email but I believe I got an even lower price than that...something like $64 a person.

Can you take on the plane a small carry on suitcase?

Anything i dont want to check in im going to put in a small suitcase that i can take on the plane with me. Hopefully nothing should get ruined!

Yeh that's my plan...in my carry on to try and bring the flowers.  I am hoping I don't have to divide them up between my family since I only have one invoice for them for customs.  Oy...I can tell this will be the most stressful part!

I really like this idea. Where are you putting this ... liek is the hotel going to hand it out as the guests come ? I might not do OOT bags because i might be having too many people so any suggestions on how I would get my itinerary to my guests ?

I just wanted to let you know, that when I was in Playa del Carmen this last September, we went to Xcaret, and it was amazing!! We swam with the dolphins there, you can snorkel, they have a natural lazy river that you float down on inner tubes and they stop at zip lines, places to cliff jump, etc. They also have iguanas everywhere and it was just an awesome experience! :)

I am doing OOT bags, so they will go in each one.

I think you have 2 options:

1.  Maybe you could email the welcome notes to your Wedding Coordinator and ask her to have them printed and given to the front desk. Then maybe the front desk could give them to your guests either when they check-in, or they could leave them in the rooms

2. Print them on nice paper at home and bring them with you. Then take them to the front desk yourself and ask that they be distributed upon check-in or right in the rooms.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
