Thank you so much. The song is by Laura Jansen, it was also our first dance song. The hotel does the slideshow for you for no extra cost and gives you the link to it to share with friends and family.
Is this included in your wedding package that you pay for? When is this sideshow done up for you? All this info sure helpd a person to get organized! Thank you

Thank you so much! That really helps. How did you get in touch with Anel? I asked my wedding coordinator if I could reserve her as the photographer and I never really got an answer. Do you have any good pictures of the pool deck? If you do, could you email them to me at Rach0636@aol.com. Thank you so much again!
Yes, if anyone has good pics showing recept on pool deck I would love to see them please! Our ceremony is at the gazebo, cocktail hour at jacuzzi & recept on pool deck. Email is lkkato@platinum.ca. Thank you

Hey guys!! Haven't commented here in a while although we come constantly to read all of the great reviews and to see some of the amazing slideshows.  Congrats to all the already married couples and to the ones like us that are only a couple of weeks away.  Feels like yesterday we were not sure of our destination for the wedding and here we are leaving on the 27th of June.  So EXCITING!  We just have one question for all of those who have already been at Dreams Riviera.  How does the resort manage the all inclusive benefits?  Do all of the guests wear wrist bands that must be worn at all times? We don't know how we feel about having that in our pictures.  Also how do they know that any random person isn't joining the reception if we have it on the pool deck.  Just some questions that make us curious and were wondering if anyone knows the answer.  Basically how does the resort manage the all inclusive part of it all since i saw in website that they dont require wristbands.  We're a bit confused.  Thanks and happy planning to all!!!

I actually got engaged at DRC last May the resort is enclosed there are no wristbands when you go to the restaurants they ask for your name and room #.

I think for the most part random people would stick out if they just tried to join your reception especially since the pool deck turns into a private section for weddings.

That's so cool, Melissa!  We got engaged in June at two resorts down from Dreams...then went to look at Dreams for the wedding.  Crazy coincidence

That's awesome -yeah I loved it there that's why when we picked a Destination wedding DRC was really the only option.

While on vacation there I would watch like 2 weddings a day and I never thought it would be me :)

They were always so beautiful that's why I have managed to not overly stress through this whole process!

Our weddings will be great and now were so close- Im super excited!!!

I got the ultimate package but I think it is included in all packages. We got to see and approve the slideshow a couple of days after the wedding and we got the finished link about a week after the wedding. Anel was our photographer and she put it together. I noticed though that each photographer is different.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
