oh man, I was rying to keep our under that but it definately didn't work, and I feel like we aren't even do many add-ons....how did you manage to save so much money on everything? I'm coming from the West Coast, so my flights were probably more than flights from NJ....

Well when I say $10,000, I didn't count our fights or stays...just the wedding.  From NJ our flights were $668.  I wanted to fly direct so we didn't risk losing anything.  I thought that was high!

Hi. No your not being nosy :)

My guests are staying at the Crown Paradise Club Cancun.

I didnt want my guests to stay at DRC, me and my future husband are staying at DRC for 14 nights so its going to be our honeymoon as well.

We chose DRC because alot of hotels require at least 80% of the your wedding guests to stay at the hotel but Dreams hotels allow guests to come from different resorts; they just have to purchase a wedding day pass.

Hey guys, Eva just introduced me to my wedding coordinator, Yamina.  I've seen her name mentioned here before.  I don't know how many coordinators they have on staff.  Eva also sent me this long questionaire.  Do I need to fill this out right now?  I really donâ€t want to have to pick out my wedding flowers when itâ€s a year before my wedding, unless I really have to.  I rather just pick out my ceremony, cocktail and reception locations now and have the other stuff wait until I am really sure of what I want.

Random questions (You guys are the best, and your answers are always honest)

Has anyone used Juan Navarro as their photographer instead of Adventure photos.  Do the photography prices jump a little if you do?

With the plated dinner, was there any issues with having a large party (40-50) ppl?  Yamina recommends a buffet, but im not sure if I want to do that.

Sorry for the questions.  I'm freaking out a bit.

Thanks everyone!  Happy hump day!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
