When is June are you getting married? My wedding is June 18th--we will be arriving June 14th....

Of all the websites I searched I didn't see any of them specify different sizes of chair sashes to order.  I would guess that there is a standard size and would just go with that and I'm sure you can't go wrong because they will put it on the chair in a way that looks great.

 

I have decided to go with actual table cloths of overlays as opposed to the runner but that is just a personal preference.  I was having the hardest time deciding how to set-up the tables, to use a colored tablecloth, or do an overlay or both or just a runner.  I actually found a great site online, BBJ Linen that has a feature where you can design table settings.  This gives you the ability to see how things will look based on your colors.

If any of you lovely ladies could email me any useful info on decor, dinner, vendor and other detailed info that I could use to plan the wedding that would be great!  I also have a hard time getting answers from Yamina or Evangelina.  Its going to drive me nuts til the wedding is over and thats too bad because we should all be enjoying this process especially because that is the reason why we all chose a destination wedding.

 

Also did anyone receive a detailed info package that describes how much everything costs like table runners, decor etc?  Sorry if it has already been posted or asked.

Few things Im hoping people can comment or help with:

 

People are starting to freak me out with June/July weather in Cancun saying its hurricane season...Ive never been so I dont know...any thoughts or input?

Hi Sophie!!  That's so cool that you're getting married on the 26th!  When do you arrive?  We're leaving the 24th, so hopefully we'll have a chance to meet!  Don't stress too much over Yamina.  She is very nice in person [i met her when I went for my site visit] and she is very organized.  She responds best if you number your questions in your emails...and try to refrain from emailing her multiple times before she replies, I find she misses questions that way.

Also, I forgot to comment on the hurricane season thing.  Kevin and I chose July while we were down there in June because it happened to rain a lot on our particular trip.  We originally wanted August but asked our tour guide the summer months that are least rainy and he said July.  You can also google frequency of rain in Cancun and you'll see it rains an average of 4 days in July or something low like that.  I live at the Jersey shore and it's not any rainier there than here in July!

Hmm after reading a couple of the recent posts I'm starting to worry. My wedding coordinator that I was set up with was Ana Garcia. I have not had much contact with her but reading that there is no mention of her as a wedding coordinator and only Yamina or Evangelina, it makes me think that maybe she does not work there anymore? Could anyone let me know because I have sent an email to her and have not any replies. And if she doesn't work there anymore why was I not informed of this !!!

Anyone have photography information?  I see an e-mail but I would like to see pictures.  What is the outside vendor fee?  Are they even allowed?  any info would be great.
