The huppah on the beach is 2.5 x 2.5 meters, Eva recommend 10 meters to decorate which equals 10 yards.  I ordered the fabric to decorate from the site below which I got from a previous bride's on this site:

Have you seen pictures of the cakes? I have been trying to reach coordinator and no response!

Do you know if you have extras like a chocolate fountain?

Anyone know the height of huppah on the beach? I saw it on this site but it was in meters.

I want to make sure I am ordering right sizes.

I havent heard back from Eva in almost a month now I am so frustrated!

For the reception tables I did ask Eva and her response was 1.8 meteres in diameter which equals about 70 inch round table.  I asked her some follow up questions but have to receive a response.  I think the safe route is to order table cloths of 120" because depending on if its an 8 or 10 person table it will go to the ground or slightly above.  Think this is a safe size to go with.

Hi Dominique,

We are actually getting married about a week a part :)  so not to freak you out but this is something you must know. The Ultimate package provides cocktail hour and reception dinner for up to 20 people however these people MUST stay at the resort.  If your guest are not staying at the resort you should look into the most simple package which is actually free of cost to you and then add on everything to it for an extra fee.  $16 p/p for cocktail hour & & $48p/p for dinner. Since you have a small party you can do a semi private dinner at one of the restaurant (which will be free) and then go dancing to the Desires lounge. Also when your guest are not staying at the resort they have to buy a day pass to come to your wedding which is I believe $80 per person.  Hope this helps with you decision making, happy planning.

Holy Moly I get married in 2 weeks!!!!

They cakes that are included in the wedding package is a VERY plain and simple sheet cake. Anything extra, is extra $. We upgraded a little. I just sent Yamina a cake I saw online and told her what I wanted a little different and then she just got back to me on a price. Same with flowers and centerpieces. Everything they "show you" (email) whats included is very simple. So I just found pictures I liked online and emailed them to her, and just asked if it was going to be extra and how much extra. Pretty much have to figure it all out on your own because its not like you can sit down with the baker or the florist and discuss what your taste is and what you like/dislike.

I LOVE tres leches cake. So we are choosing that. But I have realized every tres leches cake I have tried have been a little different but it is very moist (almost runny) because it is a cake that is soaked in 3 different milks. If I can recall from the one time I made it, its evaporated milk, condensed milk and ????? I forgot the third! lol

P.s. I ordered my chair sashes and table runners from weddinglinensdirect.com. They are tiffany blue/teal satin and I will be selling them when I return if any one is interested. I think I have like 50 sashes and 10 table runners. (they come in a pack of 10) Let me know if you are interested!

Yes we will definitely have to meet up! I am jealous that you are going to be there so long.  I'm starting to feel like a week isn't long enough especially because several guests are staying for the same amount of time.  We were thinking of taking another trip a couple months after and calling that our honeymoon :) What are your wedding colors? How many people are you expecting?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
