Hey Rach...Gerente I believe is her name. She is very helpful. She is negotiating with me and I'm very happy that I can use this DJ because he's affordable..  She's very good, she said she is my WC now....so they must have fired Ana

If you dont mind me asking, what kind of cake are you getting and how much are they charging you? If you dont mind?

The lady from DolceCakes.com, her name is Zaida and she is charging me $5-$9 pp + delivery fee so the cake total is about $250.  She said to keep cost down, if I wanted more tiers, they could substitute the extra tiers with foam at no charge and since they would be cutting the cake and boxing/distributing for the guest, no one would get a foam piece HAHAHA!  I was worried about that. Have you gone to the site yet?  She is very nice.  Here are my other 2-3 choices:  Keep in mind the colors will be royal blue, purple and silver instead of the cake in the pic and to top it off...when you cut into the cake, she said she can make it blue and purple swirls!  awesome!!!!:

Hello Everyone.... As I am sure many of you have been eagerly waiting for my DRC review and finally I am done and have uploaded to the website here. One thing I would like to pass along to future brides who write reviews - to serve this community best I would recommend writing your reviews on DRC in the Vendor review section because it's quite painful to scan through all of these pages to read reviews... and with no further delay here are links to my 2 reviews

That was sooooo beautiful and your wife is stunning, she has the most incredible eyes...Like a Disney Princess.  Thank you for the OOT bag suggestions and the suggestions on how to get stuff down there.

Your So Welcome! Thanks for the compliments I will pass that along to my wifey...Hit me up with any other questions you or any else has and I will do my best to respond...

One thing I want to add to all of this is have fun! - your wedding day will come and go so fast! so live it up! try your best to enjoy the process and soak it up on wedding day. There is definitely a void of "what do I do now" after the wedding is over. I wish I could do the wedding over in slow motion :)

Cheers to all of you future brides!

Rick,

Your review is amazing... thank you so much for posting it.  I love all the pictures and tips! I did have a few quick questions, if you dont mind:

1) Who designed your wedding logo from?

2) What was the pricing like for La Luna? Those pictures were absolutely amazing and you and your wife look stunning!

Thanks again!

Thanks Rick! Gorgeous wedding and your review and pictures were extremely helpful! Especially about how to take the OOT stuff down....that gives me anxiety thinking about it and how soon I'm going to have to figure it out! LOL I was wondering about what you had to pay for La Luna as well, if you didnt mind answering. Also, you just borrowed all the stuff (colored sand and vases) from the resort? THey had your color sand there?

Thanks!

Great Job!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
