Its pretty but I'm wondering how they would set that up.  Everything looks so pretty. I can't settle on one idea yet...not even the dress! I've found 2, trying to decide on one and also, is anyone doing  a reception dress?  I've been toying with the idea but that means going back inside and changing and i wonder how that would work....is it even worth it?

Its a roll of the dice with the weather... I have been watching the webcams for the most part it looks good... I know that its HOT! HOT! not just hot!.. but here is the plus side of being late August - Most kids are going back to school and it is technically the off-season. As I mentioned before - we just found we are the only wedding that day and  looking at the webcams now - it looks quite vacated compared to May or July. Screen shot 2011-08-20 at 3.51.45 PM.png

Here's a pic of our save the date magnet that I designed and got printed at Vista Print and fyi they have very reasonable pricing. The turquoise is showing more yellow than it is really supposed to be but you get the idea. We also did our own engagement shots too :)

Typically you start alterations 3 months before the wedding.

Hey Rick :)  I'm Katie and my fiance Marcus and I haven't officially booked at DRC yet, but I really want to....especially now that I saw those pics of the reception at the seaside grill!  I loooove it!  Do you mind telling me how much you were quoted for the rental of it?  And when's your exciting day?  We are thinking April if we can still get availability :)

Are the sky lanterns like the paper lanterns?? I was thinking of having those as decorations since they are soo reasonable but wasn't sure how we would be able to set them up outside or inside.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
