Hello Laureen,

Congratulations on such a beautiful and amazing wedding.  After reading your reviews and looking at your pictures, I will definitely ask the coordinator to include the light up dance floor during our reception.

The boy in the picture is so precious.

Lauren you looked stunning! Gorgeous wedding and thank you so much for the review. I always feel so reassured in my decision on DRC after reading reviews!

Chante - Im having the same problem with Ana right now. Though they seem to be very slow with emails in general. Sometimes its taken 2 weeks or so before I receive a reply. Im sure she will get back to you they are most likely just very busy right now. I'll let you know if I hear back from her.

Hi Chante

Are you going through a travel agent?  If so, the deposit would have been handled through them. Ana is hard to get in contact with, they just don't have much to do or say with you in regards to the wedding up until a few months before because, from what I was told, everything is a phone call and credit card away so its easier to handle when you are 3 months out, vs. a year per se

Somebody else as the same problem ?

I am trying to get a hold of her to give her our deposit and confirm wedding date.

Ana has been great lately answering my emails. When I first contacted her to try to get information and book my date it took at least 4 or 5 days to hear back from her. Recently I was emailing her so that I could book the time and the north beach and she got back to me in less than 24 hours. She actually asked me to send her some ideas for flowers, which surprised me considering I am not getting married until late 2012 and I know they are swamped with weddings everyday!  I was shocked.

Chante- I'm with you I'm still waiting to hear back from Ana....A few months ago I had no problem but now it seems to take some time to hear back. What seems to work for me, if I don't hear from her I re-send the same email until I get a answer.

Hope this helps!

Thanks girls for your answers.

Dimple and sugar, I am working with a TA but she as not said anything regarding a deposit for the wedding package. Their is a deposit that I need to make to her for the group booking for the all inclusive package but that's it.

From what I tought....I needed to make a deposit at the resort too ??

I had an email back today from Ana...but she is 2 emails late ! wow.... I just want my date to be book and secure and after that I don't care!!!

Hi Ladies,

Im getting married next week and Ana still hasn't responded to my emails from last week.  Although it's frustrating at times, I am still confident that everything will fall into place.  When you feel stressed, read the reviews from past brides, and you will definitely feel better.

In the beginning...the emails are slow, then when your wedding date is about a month or so away, Ana's email definitely become more frequent....once the big things are set in place, the emails slow up a bit again.  No worries ladies, things do come together. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
