I paid $150 for the cigar roller which was for one hour during the cocktail hour and included 20 cigars.  My guests really enjoyed it.

We are using the Caribbean Trio and I do not think they are a steel drum band ( although that would be awesome) - I think it is the same 3 guys playing more Caribbean songs instead of Mexican Fiesta.  Please correct me if I am wrong anyone who knows different- Thanks!

In order to get married (legal) in Mexico, you have to be there 4 full days prior to the wedding? Meaning, if the wedding is on a Fri, you have to get there the Sunday prior to?

Is this true? Have seen different info on a few different sites and just wanted to confirm with the experts :)

Is this also a requirement if you do a symbolic ceremony in Mexico?

Thanks much for the clarification.

I think we envisioned spending more days relaxing after the wedding v.s. 4 days prior to the wedding in Mexico. Definitely gives us something more to think about!

Can any of the past brides tell me if you thought the video was worth it? After seeing what some of you are saying about the cocktail party - I'm starting to agree that it's not necessary. I'm thinking of doing the "Love" package instead of the "Ultimate" which does not include the live music or video, and it looks like the smallest video package is $650.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
