Yeah- from what I was told the chuppah is included, and includes the standard white tulle fabric wraps, but no flowers or decor.. that is all extra.

Im just going with the chuppah drapped in white, since its included, and the beach is already a fantasitc backdrop anyways!

Leaving in 4 days!! =)

Definitely great news...I'm going beach as well and was panicking when I read that the Chuppah was going to cost more...seems like things can add up pretty easily and quickly. I think I'm going to reconfirm with the resort and bring those emails so they don't try and pull a fast one on me! :-)

I would...

I mean literally i've had 3 different coordinators already throughout my 6 month planning process.. and i know several other brides on here have had the same situation. Not only were they not able to keep things on record correctly when it was just one coordinator.. every time they left and a new one took over they'd send an e-mail with all the WRONG information.. it was like the slate was wiped clean and they were starting over.

I literally have a binder- i printed every confirmation # and every conversation i had with the different coordinators and its going with me so i have proof of everything that was said and approved to me.. i'm sure all other brides and myself are being prepared, and NOT about to let them pull a fast one on you and ruin the wedding day, or charge you WAY more than what they originally quoted..

Ok so i was rambling =)

Long story short.. print all the emails and forms and questionnaires..cover your butt =)

Hi ladies,  Did anyone use an outside florist for their bouquets and/or ceremony and reception decor or did you just go thru DRC.  I was wondering how much cheaper an outside vendor would be for this.  I have 6 bridesmaids so the bouquet prices add up quickly and i wanted flowers for my centerpieces.

If your using a company like Deco Cancun do they provide flowers?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
