My new coordinator for the wedding (3rd time) is Veronica but Claudia is in charge of our rooms.  We are having the wedding at the Gazebo, cocktail hour on the Desires Terrace, and the reception on the Pool Deck.  rolleyes.gif  How many people are you having?  We have (hopefully) around 35-40 if everyone commits- Its so hard to know - everyone wants to book at the last minute! We're a pretty rowdy bunch so hopefully the resort will be ready for us! lol

well for now its about 20 and our wedding package is up to 20 ugh! I think were actually going over . We still need a couple of people. I found this website earlier in the year its Destination weddings.  Well I have destination planner . She sent us info on Resorts and we ended up choosing Dreams also because its family friendly. I have a little girl.

I know how you feel about getting everyone to book ughhhhhhhh you just want to pool your hair. lol! We blocked some rooms so that helped trying people to book because they were getting a great rate.  Have you sent off your invites?

Well I havent really spoken i guess to a wedding coordinator but I guess Claudia is taking care of it. We are having the wedding at the Gazebo I was thinking about having our reception in the garden because it looks great in the pic. but I am actually thinking of having it at by the pool now lol!  Did you ask about lighting or decortations around the pool area?

Its great talking to you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
