Awww  so excited!  i cant wait to hear all about your wedding!  We were on a horrible excursion ..  how was the weather?  Windy??  Pete and I are so happy we were able to leave you whatever we could!!  How was your honeymoon>!!!!??   Fill me in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I know I hate work!!!! lol

 

 

Honeymoon was fantastic!! (Ladies we stayed at Secrets Maroma) we totally splurged and went for a honeymoon suite it was the most amazing room I have ever stayed in and we had it for some 9 days! Room 1722 at Secrets! It totally helped too, because on the day of the wedding I kicked out hubbie and him and 3 of his guys had lunch and hanged out / got ready at the spa (the resort was all booked) and I had my Mom, my Aunt, and 6 girls all get ready with me! Not to mention 2 photographers, 1 videographer, 2 make up artists, and 2 hair stylists!! So if it was a small room it would have been a mess! By the way Fernando did my makeup, he was great! I dont usually wear make up and to be honest had a hard time even recognizing myself, but he did a fantastic job on the eyes! I had fake eyelashes and there were AMAZING! Everyone except by Aunt had their make up done by Fernando and his second make up artist and everyone loved it!! and myself and all 6 girls got full updos!

 

Janine what excursion did you guys go on? that was so funny to bump into you like that at the spa! funny thing the lady forgot to do a top coat and my french manicure came right off within a day or two, they appologized and redid it 2/3 days after, it just wasnt as shiny on the day of the wedding but I doubt anyone could tell! ha ha!

 

WE STAYED IN 1724 at SECRETS MAROMA!!  HOW FUNNY!!!! 

 

OH NO...   Thats because we were talking and prob confused her!  Sorry!!!!!!    We went and did some BIOSPHERE (Sh'kaan...  it was soo awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  But EXPLOR was amazing!!  I tried talking my hubby into staying 1 more night but he wouldnt budge!  Doesnt feel a bit sad to be back and its all over!???   I just got all pictures back from my photographer.. Nick Carter from NY is AMAZING..  he actually PRINTED OVER 1000 pics FOR US!  tHEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

AS FOR REHEARSAL WE ACTUALLY HAD ONE THE NIGHT BEFORE.  I JUST HAD ABOUT 40 BECAUSE MY WEDDING PARTY WAS LARGE AND THEY HAD THEIR SPOUSES WATCH..  IT WAS A GREAT IDEA HAVING THE WHITE PARTY AND SO MUCH FUN!  GREAT PHOTO OPP.  I WOULD DO IT EARLIER THAN 5PM THOUGH ...

I GAVE THEM  FAKE FLOWERS TO BE PUT AROUND THE CAKE  ON THE TABLE AND THEY literally put them on and around the cake! lol IT WAS FINE BUT TELL THEM EXACTLY WHERE. I ASKED THEM TO PUT REAL FLOWERS ON THE CAKE BUT THEY MISUNDERSTOOD.

 

DDEMAYO-  I ACTUALLY SAW YOUR WEDDING AND SAW YOU WHEN i WAS AT THE SWING BAR! CONGRATS!  YOU LOOKED LIKE YOU HAD A GREAT TIME AND IT WAS BEATIFUL!!!   I THINK MY FRIENDS ACTUALLY HAVE A FEW PICS OF YOUR WEDDING ! LOL  I  WILL LOOK!

 

I BOOKED IN FEB .. CONFIRM YOUR LOCATION RIGHT AWAY...  IF THEY CHANGE HANDS AGAIN AT LEAST YOU WILL HAVE A CONFIRMATION. AND MAKE SURE YOU ALSO HAVE A BACK UP PLAN IF IT RAINS!!!

 

I BOOKED SALON THRU WEDDING COORDINATOR 9 GET CONFIRMATON0 ALSO BOOK YOUR ROMANTIC DINNER BEFORE YOU GET THERE AND YOUR MASSAGE APPTS. THEY FILL UP QUICK.. IF NOT BOOK AT TIME OF CHECK IN!!!  AND REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO PICK YOUR MEAL....

 

 

SUGGESTION FOR DECO CANCUN:  USE BAMBOO LANTERNS,  LOUNGE FURNITURE, I GOT TWO....  FOR CEREMONY USE THEM IF YOU WANT COLORED SHEER LINEN! I LOVED THIS FOR MY WEDDING!  HOTEL WAS CHARGING 300 AND THEY CHARGED 50.00  LOVED LOVED LOVED MY CENTERPIECES!!!!!  THEY WERE SOOOOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!

 

dont GET candles for around pool OR BEACH AREA ( they come in all sizes) its too windy!!  i thought they provided led ones and they werent.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the foot jewelry as well but I kind of worry about the sand/cement being hot...and people going to the bathroom barefoot...any suggestions?  I was thinking about putting the foot jewelry in the bags I give my bm's...?  Leaving it optional??  Hmmm...any idea's??

Wow, really.  I thought you had it custom made. lol.  That's great.  I will have to try to find one that works with my complexion, it would be kind of hard to try to paint it. lol

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
