Both the orange and pink dresses were from Mori Lee.  We got them at a bridal store. The orange color is Jalapeno and the pink was called Watermelon.  Hope you find something.  I had alot of trouble finding the orange that I wanted too.  My sister actually found them!!

I have been searching HIGH and LOW for orange bridesmaid dresses the color of your bridesmaids' ones. Where did you find them in that color? I am having a really hard time finding anything  bold orange like that. I was surprised to find this search so tough!

Any advice on where to look? My two sisters are the only bridesmaids I need to find that orange for. Any ideas would be totally appreciated, thanks!

Congrats on your beautiful day!

HI LADIES!  Im here in Mexico and we arrived yesterday!  Sorry I havent been on so I am not up to date but wanted to post and tell u all  I will give a full report after the wedding!  Its 530 am and I cant sleep! Just listening to the waves crash..  our room is AMAZING!!!  1502   WOW !  BOO  i will meet you somewhere to give you all my wedding stuff I have left..  No money just maybe keep passing the stuff to ther brides so they dont have to bring to mexico.. I do want my friend Amy to use my stuff in Feb.. ..  (I will leave you instructions so if you leave the pink and orange parsols for other girls.. just in the end tell them to  leave for her!

I saw a girl get married yesterday and there was the MOST BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW I HAVE EVER SEEN!  Almost 2 of them..... They looked like they were having a blast!

Anyway-  on to my review for now...

Check in was the worst I have ever had!  I have to say we had a bumpy start but hopefully that will be the end of the drama..

We arrived..  no champagne/ no hot towels and they knew we were here for a wedding. We had 6 suitcases and  our wedding attire..  Gerri did come finally to the front and greet us and walked us to preferred club..  she couldnt get in at one point so we had to walk around...  once we arrived we were told to sit in the other room and they would call us in..  30  min later I checked and not only was there one person that jumped in front of us another guy came and sat down. I asked them why they didnt come get us as we were escorted to the other room..  nothing!   So the staff  proceeded to take the other guests..  40 50 min later we sat down..  they didnt have our correct dates.. they said we were only staying 3 nights!!!  Then  they said oh you are switching rooms??!!!  I was LIKE NO!  We are getting married on THURSDAY and have 60 guests staying at this hotel..  they had the audacity to ask me if I had PROOF!  I was furious at this point because they obviously dont communicate with anyone...  anyway  8 other guests checked in at the front desk without incident.  Our other gueest who checked in at Preferred also said the process of check in was VERY SLOW.

So we finally straighten it out and they bring us to the wrong room..  I sent 20 emails confirming that we have a specific room and they put us in the room opposite of the one we wanted.  They called down to the pref club to ask if the room we requested was avail and it was..  so they had to get housekeeping to open the door.  The bellman said he would be right back with our keys and NO ONE showed up/ After 45 mins my Hubby called down to let them know they said no problem keys wold be right up and we waited another 30 mins and then left! As we were walking down the stairs we saw the bellman and he asked if everythingr was ok.. we told him we didnt get the keys yet so he asked where we would be and we told him oceana..  he ended up meeting us there.  Lots of empty promises.  Our refrig wasnt stsocked.. only 2 beers and 1 water..  we ended up calling down to ask them to refil and they did.

We met our family and friends at Oceana.. food was GREAT.. love the crab wontons!!  Raul was so sweet!!!

Meeting with Ana, Ivan, Photgrapher, Videographer, and Anita from Deco cancun today to go over  wedding details.. we will let you know how it goes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
