Sorry I don't know about the sit down dinner options as I reserved the wine room and was able to order off the French restaurant menu.
Thanks! I will request him then. So is he not included in the photos that come with the wedding package? Is he considered an outside vendor that I need to contact on my own or can I just tell Ana I want to book him? Thanks again!

Hi ladies thanks for the reviews!! It really helps so much for us brides who can't do a site visit.

I know communication is a common issue for veryone with Ana but I can't believe I'm still waiting for her to respond so I can lock down my date and time!

Does anyone know if I can just call the resort to find out available ceremony times? Or is that only info Ana would have? I really want a later ceremony time and I was offered 11 or 2. So I asked Ana what days she does have a later time and now no respone for over a week.

I called Ana and was only able to leave a message with her assistant but she never called me back. On average, it's taken about 2 to 3 weeks for her to respond to me. I would just keep emailing until you get your question answered. She does end up responding even if it isn't very quickly. When I did choose a date of the ones she told me were available I didn't get an immediate response so I was a little freaked because I didn't want it to be given away. It wasn't though. She just took a long time to respond. Good luck!

As for the the overlay.. I think you should stick with one color.. only my opinion. Might be to much. I love the tables that light up underneath!! what are you doing for centerpieces?

Hi ladies!

I just got back from Dreams RC and it was AMAZING! We didn't realize it was a site visit until we got there, haha... we felt so spoiled there that all of the other resorts we went to visit just didn't measure up. Our wedding will be May 3rd, 2011. The quote we got for the first week of May 2011 was a bit over the top ($1946 pp txes included) but we're doing it anyway.

How are you getting everything to Mexico for your wedding? CPs, any stuff for guest totebags/gifts, etc. Are you shipping it there or bringing it with you in luggage? Are you worried about them asking questions at the airport if it's in your luggage?

Seems like a silly thing to worry about, I'm sure. Just wondering... thanks and congratulations to everyone!

I have heard some stories sooo beware! just ask maybe family or MOH carry etxtra bag on... You dont want to chance it!! btw THEY DO HAVE A sams club and costco I believe... I am gonna buy some stuff there that way I am not carrying so much...

Ana will take care of it if you just tell her you would like him. You could also e-mail him to see if he is available on your date. I did both. The pricing should be the same as the photo packages she sends you. It's kinda weird because of things I have read and from my own experience it seems that Ana doesn't like it when people contact the vendors on their own for pricing etc.. probably because Dreams puts a mark up of some sort on it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
