Dreams Riviera Cancun - Brides post here (new thread)

Help girls before I make these. Can you have fake rose petals for your flower girl on the beach at the resort. I was thinking after we walked down the aisle guest could throw rose petals at us. Been then thought that is kind of littering.

Can you use fake rose petals on the beachhuh.gif?

Also can anyone think of any cute wording to put on the ceremony program that tells the guest to throw the petals after the kiss and we walk down the aisle.

I am at a blank. I have 8 more days till the wedding help!!! lol

Welcome to all the new ladies!!!!!!!

I registered for toasting flutes and cake cutter - so assuming I get them at my shower I will be bringing them down. :)

As for the fake petals - I've heard from other resorts that you can't use fake petals - but maybe you can negotiate with ana about getting petals for your guests for cheaper/free?? I'm sorry I don't know for sure - but that's a very good question.

And then buy small candles to surround the CP.

I am not sure at this point considering I like the idea of 16 people at a table, easier for seating people together.. the round limits us to 8 or 10huh.gif I am also trying to buy coral/hot pink paper lanterns.. what are you doinghuh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gif?
Pbj...I am only having about 30 people. I am doing the round tables and having them lit up underneath! I love that! But I am not sure how to do the orange and fuschia together. Would it look weird if I did fuschia overlay and orange chair sashes? What do you think?

That is what I wanted to do and Ana said I couldn't. I am so upset by this. I do not understand why Ana can't move it up a half hour. I really don't want to miss our cocktail hour.

I got a garter, a hanger that says "Ron heart Casey" (it's an actual heart, not the word hahaha) and a hot pink sash for the reception which is HOT! So if you need any of those things, I'm happy to send you the contact info!
that would be great if you can give me the names of who you used!!! Thanks!!!!!!! so excited!!!!

How many petals do you get for 22 dollars.

This really sucks. I am so freaking tired of not being able to do this or having to buy something for a high price. Oh well I guess it made my life easier. I guess we will just not be throwing anything.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
