$5 per chair sash seems outrageous to me.
I bought chair sashes on ebay for less than $1 per sash. My wedding was Feb 26th and Ana put the sashes on for me for the ceremony and the reception for me at no charge. It seems ridiculous to have to pay for them to do that!

brides, please be patient with ana, you have no idea how many emails she gets daily.

my wedding is in 2 weeks at dreams, she has been nothing but good to me, answered all my questions, done everything to acommodate me, and the closer you get to your date, the sooner she gives answers, as she is dealing with the weddings that are next.

i understand being frustrated & scared at not getting responses, but she will take care of everything in time, dont stress.

this resort sounds amazing, i am getting everything i wanted & asked for & my total bill for the wedding is under what i had anticipated.

if you have questions, feel free to ask me, i would love to help, as i am further along the path then lots of you.

also, if you want to email me, i can take a list of questions with me & get answers from ana when i am there in 2 weeks & i will gladly email you when i return.

i will also post details of my wedding, so any questions, send my way. or if you have anything you would like me to take pictures of, i will gladly do so.

dont stress, everything will be perfect & will be taken care of:)

wedding april 28, 2010 SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really want to have the cruise, but just wanted to see if you negotiated your price. What boat are you renting?
I didn't negotiate the price. I did ask about the 3 hours. Originally he told me that 4 hours was the minimum. Our transpo is $300. How many people are you transporting? We were originally going to rent the anteres that holds 40 people. But we decided to upgrade to the Velvet Tiger that holds 50 people. We only have 35 people but figured there would be more space on this one

Note, that the first two pictures that show the banquet chairs is also the rain back up at DRC. let me know if there are other pictures that you ladies would like to see.

I had to break up the attachment into three as otherwise they are too big

Happy planning!
Do you mind emailing these attachments to me at dee414@gmail.com. I am not able to open them, it says that I do not have enough member points =(.

i bought my chair sashes from wedding linens direct- i think 30 of them for less than $30 (fuschia sheer ones)... ana said she would put them on the chairs for $1 each. If i wasnt such a control freak, i would have my family or friends do it haha.

Dee, please be careful asking people to email you things - this is against forum rules and could get you banned!

Here's a link to the rules, and will also give you info about points opening attachments: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...k-forum-32313/

I know there are other threads that cover this... but I was just wondering out of the brides at DRC that have had their weddings already or are about to, can you post your welcome brochures or templates ? I'd just like to see what events or activities other people are including that is DRC specific.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
