Here is the website Catamaran Tours in Cancun sailing to Isla Mujeres they do not have a lot of info on the website but email them and they will get back to you. Tell them exactly what you are looking for and they will help. They have been pretty good so far!

Here is a word document with all the information about Aqua World as it applies to DRC. I have emailed all of you that asked, so this is for everyone else :). I was trying to figure out how to get all the information on here, since it was an email, and then a light bulb went off and I thought "duh, put it in a word doc".... sometime we miss the easy stuff :)

Mmm. Strange. Well - I imagine SOMEONE will hear back from her soon (hopefully someone who's wedding is coming up in the next month or so). And if you're out there...can you please just confirm contacting Ana at a particular e-mail address?

We sat down with her 3 days before our wedding. Through email, I set up a date and time to meet with her a couple of days before I got to Mexico. It took us about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. We sat down with her and discussed all of the details of the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour and then also went and chose our ceremony site and our site for the cocktail hour.

They also won't automatically send the flowers and champagne to your room unless you talk to the concierge first. The honeymoon package was great! We had so much fun with it :)

Don't worry about it Megan! What you have done is all that you need to do before you go. I would make a list for yourself of everything that you want to talk to Ana about when you meet with her though...menus, flowers, extra decorations, music (if you are using sound system), etc. This way, when you meet with her, you will be very organized and get all of your questions answered. I didn't write this stuff down and there were things that I forgot when I met with her. Oh, and if you have any of your own decorations, favors, etc. you should bring them with you to give to Ana when you meet with her and write down for her exactly what you want done with them. Also, she will take you around and show you the options for ceremony sites and reception/cocktail hour sites if you haven't totally decided on a location for something. I finalized all of my details with her once I got there, not before. Hope this helps!

Thanks Laura you are so sweet. You always make me feel better. I will be there two days before the wedding. So I hope I will have enough time to get everything worked out. But thanks for the great ideas. I need to get organized so I do not forget things.

Also if anyone has had a response back from Ana. Please post her email.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
