If there is someone else is booked on your day (unfortunately Ana is the only one who can tell you this) - then you might try to decide now so she can make a note of it. On my site visit she did tell me that if two parties want the beach deck, it will go to the larger of the two.

Ceremony Script - If this is something that's important for you by all means go to work! I know they have some options, but will also accomodate whatever you bring.

Decoration - I know they have some tiki tourches, and lots of flower options for the ceremony site as well as tables center pieces ($$). She has lots of flower options so just bring pictures with you of what you like and she'll get it done (again at a cost). But if you have something specific you want, best plan to bring it. They do have chair sashes but the price seemed out of line to me.

Photog - Don't worry about it till you are there.

It freaked me out at first, waiting to make all these decisions. But after meeting with Ana, I have complete faith.
Thanks for sharing :) My only question is what you said about how if two wedding parties wanted the same reception spot it went to the largest party - my TA told me it was whomever booked first! Yikes.. I'm starting to wonder if my TA was just telling me what I wanted to hear as opposed to the truth. angry.gif

There are 2 other weddings on my same day, so I want to get the locations nailed down, if possible.
I was told by my TA that they only do two weddings a day, was I misled? Do they do up to 3 per day? I was also told that there was a morning slot and afternoon slot but it seems like two ladies on here have just realized that their ceremonies are only an hour and a half apart. What have you ladies been told about this?

i heard it was whoever booked first also- im sure its probably not your TA that is misleading you... i think it is the resort, so many people have gotten different answers to their questions... but maybe they changed some of the rules or processes due to the growing popularity of the resort... who knows...

Yeah I thought the same thing but they do have two weddings running receptions at the same time outside. My day the other wedding booked first and they book the beach as their reception area - Ana told me its first come first choose sorta thing. I had my heard on the deck, that is between the pool and the sand, so I reserved that. Ana assured me that the other party wont be on the sand right infront.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
