We have dropped down to 20 guest. We were going to go with the love package. But now I am thinking about just having a dinner at one of the restaurants and goes to desires lounges afterward. Giving the DJ there my ipod with music. Anyone thinking about doing this?

Also does anyone know how much hair and make up and the salon on the resort ranges?

Since it came with my package have now find out which is going to be better doing all this separately or just staying with the package.

Or anyone for that matter who got a DJ... we are going to get the DJ- can I still put a playlist together for him to play? We do want to pick our own music.

Also- we are thinking of having the rehearsal dinner in Desires Terrace?? Is that inside or out? We are wanting to do a slideshow- where is the best place to do that and have any of you done that?

Finally :) My flowers are going to be a mix of dahlias, callas, tulips, etc... she has quoted me $60 for my bmaids and $150 for mine... If I am getting the Utlimate PKG- how does that work- if my bouquet is supposed to me included?
i have decided to get the dj, less stress & he will keep the night going!! i think its worth it, for me anyways,

the desire terrace is outside.

if you choose something other then the flowers included, there will be an extra charge...you should see what they wanted to charge me for my centerpieces!!!

Ohhh Stephanie! I have a question for you!!! How far in advance does Ana need your final count of guests? I'm planning to order our invites this weekend or next and I've been waiting 2 weeks for Ana's response but if you know that'd be awesome.

I was planning to have the guests rsvp by August 1st - my wedding is September 18th - is that enough time?

Ohh I'm on facebook too ladies - Casey Myers (Houston TX)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
