Megan, I'm so sorry things aren't going smoothly for you right now sad.gif I think that no matter what happens, you're going to enjoy yourself. And decorations can be taken care of with Ana when you get down there and you'll still have a beautiful wedding. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you find a dress soon :)

Megan...I am sorry you feel like things aren't working out sad.gif Just from personal experience...you really won't miss the people that aren't coming. We had a member of our wedding party back out 2 weeks before the wedding! It was really a downer when it happened but in the end, we didn't really miss them because we had so much fun with the people that did come. When you do get to Mexico, and you are at the swing bar with a Mango Tango (which are sooo good!), you probably won't care as much about the things you are worried about now! I didn't have one worry once I got there even though I was majorly stressed before I left. It is so beautiful there...your wedding will be amazing!!!

Hey Megan, When in May are you getting married? I will be there May 22-29. My Wedding is on the 27th. Don't worry about anything. I still don't have my invites out yet! I'm freaking out too but I know that it will all work out in the end!

This has come up on the FB fan page, and apparently you can get free wired internet in all the rooms but if you want wireless it's around $15 a day unless you are in a preferred room (in which case it is included for free).

I just hope my verbally confirmed date and her not asking for my payment yet doesn't effect one another. I think I'm going to call Mexico again today I guess :-s
I tried to fax from three different places it it wasn't happening. I eventually scanned the deposit paper and both sides of my DL & Credit card and emailed her. She said this was fine and my funds were withdrawn about a week later. I just felt really nervous about sending a fax with my info on it and not knowing exactly where it was going to end up and who might see it.

We have 'booked' DJ Doremixx thru Ana - ie. we have an email confirming in, but even after 5 months of planning no contract, something I rather not think about. I believe any of the DJs will tell you to go thru Ana, the two that DRC uses I think are Mannia and Doremixx - doesnt hurt to try though.

You girls are all so sweet. I found my dress on Friday and I absoulty love it. It really feels like you are getting married when you buy the dress. lol.

Thanks again for all of your sweet words. I was just having a really bad week with everything travel wise and overwhelmed with all the wedding stuff I still have to do. But it will all work out. And I will love my wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
