Just personal preference :) I didn't want the white fabric on the ceremony chairs. At the reception, there were white chair covers on the chairs and then the same blue chair sashes.

I got the sand ceremony kit and very excited to use it, here is a link to the one we got (we have already received it and if I must say I think it actually looks better in person than it does online)

SALE Unity Sand Ceremony Vases - $43.45 - Weddingfavours.ca

both our Moms are going to pour first sand from the location, then we will use the kit with our two colours (tourquise and ?)

the Moms will use pearl nautilus shells (I have ordered 2 that are 6-7 inches each but havent received them yet)

Pearl Nautilus Seashells, Sea Shells, Sea Shell, Seashell

I am then going to go an get some plain stands so that I can put the shell with sand on the table for our ceremony

Yes. We had our rehearsal the day before the wedding. We could have had it anytime but all of our guests came the day before the wedding so we had to have it that day.

I found this website on another thread and their prices are really cheap. Check it out but then you would have to drag it there.

I wonder if you could ship it to the resort if we let Ana know that it for us.

Gifts International Inc - Tulle Fabrics Bolt Wholesale and Retail

Do you know what the measurements are for the chuppa?

we're doing ours the day before as a welcome cocktail hour. i really wanted to have my ceremony at 6 but then dinner would be at 8 which seemed really late. plus, i'm going to convince my FI to do pictures before the ceremony... i want bright daylight but a sunset ceremony.

Wish me luck on having my cake and eating it too!

They give you the pictures on a disc with the copyright release. They will make books for you but it is extra' date=' of course :)

Hmm... this is making me wonder if if I could use the resort photog, as included in the package, as a "second" photog? Wonder if they would mind holding lighting for my photog and such! lol.

How long is your photographer going to be there? We used the resort photographer for the welcome dinner and then we liked them so much, we decided to get pictures taken of us a few days after the wedding. Maybe you could use them for something like that - like pictures on the beach and around the resort. Ours are "honeymoon pictures". :) The resort photographers are so nice and fun!

Hi Boo,
Yes, I'd love the link also? Can you post it on the forum?

What time are you having the cocktail hour? What time is your ceremony?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
